Just took delivery of gray tactical/AS tire/ CB last week...any idea from other owners when the light bar is due to arrive?

Also...for FL/St Pete area...what is average cost for PowerShare? Just worried about overcharges for this...or if it's worth it at all? Thoughts?

This looks 100 times better than all of the aftermarket light bars. That being said, I still don’t want it on my cyber beast. Mine will be going up for sale the day the Lightbar gets delivered.
I’m with you on that. I just don’t think I would use it, and it doesn’t improve the appearance of the truck.

I have gotten two quotes for powershare through qmerit and a contractor out of Ft Myers. The first was about $5000 for high amperage connections and then I asked for a low amperage connections quote and that came in at $4250. I believe there is a tax credit that can make up the overage of both. But basically I am looking at $1000 or $250 up front out of pocket to get it installed. The $4k credit and included hardware cover the rest.

The high amperage would be larger draw items like my ac etc and the low amperage would be various other circuits like lights, outlets etc.

I haven’t pulled the trigger yet, I am going to try to haggle with them a little more and see if I can get the high amp hookup to like $4500 and then I might tell them to go for it.

TBH I had a Tesla charger installed prior to getting my truck and I have FPL storm secure in my neighborhood so all of our powerlines are underground and we are hooked up to the power feed that supplies Sarasota Memorial Hospital and can’t remember last time I had a power outage. I am on the fence if I want the $2500 Tesla store credit or to just get this hardware installed that I probably will never use much.

I've tried a couple of times to get good pictures but nothing worth posting, yet. I don't think there was enough slack to route any other way without splicing in more wire. They were NOT very generous.

The first few Cybertruck Off-Road Lightbars have now been installed on customer vehicles, and we finally got a better look at their capabilities. They’ve got a bevy of unique software options – so let’s take a look at what you get for going with an OEM Tesla Off-Road Lightbar.

Lightbar Software Options
Installing the Off-Road Lightbar adds a new category to the vehicle’s settings. You can navigate to Controls > Outlets and Mods and see a new option for Light Bar. Pressing it will enable the Lightbar, as well as show additional controls in the Outlets and Mods menu.

Once you turn it on, you’ll see an image of the top of your Cybertruck with the Lightbar installed. Below, the option to turn on the Ditch Lights, Flood Lights, or Both will be available. You’ll also be able to adjust the overall brightness of the Off-Road Lightbar.

To top it off, they could easily wire it up but just make you sign some type of waiver that you won't use it on-road.
It's literally illegal for them to install an illegal light. You don't really think a big company like Tesla would knowingly do something illegal, do you?

sorry if this was answered earlier in this thread but do we have an idea on the volume of these light bars being installed? I took delivery in July from FL and my vin is 19XXX. Would love to get mine installed! looks sick!

Also wondering if it impacts range in any meaningful way.

Can't wait to be my lightbar for my CB.
How were you notified by Telsa? Did you get an email, or a message in the Tesla app?
Has anyone near Memphis TN get their lightbar yet?

So Tesla doesn't go through this process, correct? This is what we will need to do ourselves or engage a 3rd party installer to do, right? Excited to get the lightbar but this seems like it is going to be an involved process that will take some effort to sort.
Yes, exactly.

With basic soldering skills, it's an easy job for DIY or a local shop to perform.

Though it's too bad Tesla couldn't just attach connectors to each end, so all the end-users had to do was connect them, haha!!
