Hey CT Crew,

Took delivery of my Foundation Series Cybertruck in May 2024. This is my second winter and we have, of course had several freeze-thaw cycles in Michigan and after the latest ones I noticed adhesive failure on two panels: visible gaps/separation.

The front driver’s side is rattling like crazy over 50 mph due to the looseness/vibration shown on video.

Submitted service request via app. Anyone else seeing panel delam or adhesive issues? Especially rattles at speed. How’s service handling it?

Thanks for any input!

That’s awful.
My 24 beast has adhesion separation on front doors and both have been replaced. Hoping I don’t get your issue because that is terrible wow

When these trucks are out of warranty and we have these issues what are we going to do? Rivet the panels on?

My cybertruck was repurchased due to all my panels having this issue but now tesla is using new glue so the panels that you will get replaced with will have new glue

Do we know when they switch to this new production method?

Around the 70k vin range, my 74k vin has the new glue on the front, fenders, rear fender, sail but not on the doors or tailgate, not sure they have even fixed the doors and tailgate yet from factory

There is a fix for the tailgate, they added a bracket, solid as rock now 💪 don’t know if this replaces glue

Sucks I can’t take it in before the issues start. I kept taking my truck in to get them to fix my metal strip above the window and they wouldn’t do it said it was fine. Then the recall happened which finally included mine I still haven’t gone in just because the service center is so far away, any chance this will turn into a recall issue too? I just hate the airing for them to “believe”
The problems or complaints or that they wait until something flies off the fucking truck.

The issue is the other panels can’t actually fall off due to some fasteners but will get super loose and rattle, so most likely they will only replace upon customer complaint
