Has there been any stats that have shown a correlation in PCS failure? Charger brand, charging frequency, charge limit, geographic area(electricity quality, or climate), milage driven, garaged, elevation, daily charging vs weekly, anything at all?

If we’re on G and they are going in order does that mean they have tried 6 prior pcs’s that have failed and now are on their 7th attempt!?

I just got the estimate for my appointment in a little over a week, does that mean my appointment is confirmed? They initially wanted me to schedule it at the end of June and then at the end of July and I held firm on my appointment date!
Yep, number G, if you got the cost estimates then your close, however once they dig into it they may update the estimate if / when they discover other things need replaced. If the part is delayed they will message you.

Add me to the PCS club today. The question I haven’t seen answered yet is has ANYONE successfully gotten the revised PCS part? Does it exist yet? I have 0 faith in the “2 month” timeline I was given.
Mine failed April 22nd and they just completed the Rev G replacement on May 26th.

I'm on my 2nd PCS. It keeps giving me the message "Charging Stopped". The SC in NJ thinks it's the PCS so they ordered me a new one and told me I can have free SuperCharging until the part comes in. I'm okay with that since nothing is really broken. I just have to keep checking my app while level 2 charging at home and making sure the Charging isn't stopped.

I'll be honest, it was really cool that a pop up came up and said that I have a PCS failure, AC charging will not work, but Supercharging would be free (summarized). Then the SC session automatically went to $0.00 and they credited my previous session.

It sounds like Tesla is automating this because it's so frequent.

Rev G was installed on mine, to my knowledge I havnt heard of a G failing yet. They likely gave you a far out date not to get you hopes up and keep pushing it back and back. This way if it comes in early you will be happy. You can always try another service center and see if you get a sooner date.
also changed
Have -G
This is the one
Works perfect
You will be fine

I got the error in early May. SC visit is set for July 2nd and so far no additional push backs the date.

The data is there but as usual Tesla is playing their cards close to the vest. Considering all the FUD stories, I don't blame them of being quiet on a real problem.

Someone said these PCS units were put out intentionally which is of course ridiculous. Every EV manufacturer is having supply chain issues and Tesla isn't immune to that yet. The Terra Fab is the answer but it will take awhile to get setup and running. In the meantime, they are at their suppliers mercy and with the paltry number of Cybertruck's sold vs their estimations, that makes proprietary components like the PCS vulnerable.

I did not get a possiable date in at the OKC center. It's been about 2 months for me. Supercharging is getting old.

The replacement is on the invoice and is part of the part number. But factory ones, you can goto the parts shop and look up pcs and it will tell you what was put in from the factory.
