Ya, I couldn't do this because I have another Tesla in my account, so I couldn't transfer the entire account.

I sure wouldn't try that on either side of the equation, and would gladly provide the information to Tesla regarding both the ding and the dong but hopefully that has already been done. I'd love to see the first legal fights play out and my guess is that both ding and dong will lose.

All the better. If it is really happening en masse as you say, then it is very likely that Tesla will know this is happening and respond. There is no point in going to the trouble of drafting legal statements about reservations and orders if Tesla isn't going to enforce it when they know it is happening.

Its not 'my' problem. Its Tesla's problem if they want to deal with it. I would just encourage them to do so.

At the very least, some people will be blacklisted from being allowed to buy Tesla in the future. The only question is whether Tesla will blacklist the people on the buy side of these transactions. Any privately owned business can do that, they can blacklist anyone they want, without cause.

I don't know why people persist in pretending this will be found to be legal. Read the terms of the agreement of your Tesla Account. It would clearly be fraudulent to transfer your Tesla account to another individual. The account is affiliated with the individual and there are no provisions for selling the account.
