Fit and finish is really good. It is a solid, well-built car. I do have one tiny nit: the charge port door catches on something as it opens so you hear a little pop each time. But that is it!
Right on. Thanks for the response! Enjoy your truck my guy!!

Good to hear fit and finish is good and panels all match it looks like in photos.
Tesla say anything about the pop on charge port door, likely just a little piece of plastic catching and hopefully an easy fix with a box knife, but I would let them do it :)

Wheel covers and the screen for the sunshade. I also did not get the charger and power station as those will come through a different party that Tesla is connecting me with for the install.
hugely thankful for that info. Did the charge cable for car to car come with vehicle?

I saw you and your wife yesterday at Buc-ee's. It was a pleasure meeting you. Your truck looks awesome. Nice fit and finish. Bummer about having to wait for wheels covers.

My wife and I saw them driving on 35 and I said I bet they are headed to charge. So I reverse stalked them by heading to the chargers and waiting for them to arrive. Score. It was nice seeing it up close and personal. I did see several people snapping pics as they drove around. Head turning for sure.

It is weird how big it looks by itself and not that big when in traffic.
I am waiting on a VIN assignment.....

At least from my experience, payment is completed before you arrive. Signing the purchase agreement and DMV at location

Interesting, turn over $100,000 without seeing the product! I am not sure I trust elon that much.
First time buying a Tesla? So much better than dealerships. But your point is noted

okay, I know that some of us here are in the tesla cult... but let's at least not act like it's unreasonable to want to see a $100,000 vehicle before you have already paid for it.
You are dealing with a multi-billion dollar corporation here, this is not a Craig's List seller or a legacy auto dealership we are talking about!

I mean, this is so far-fetched it's ludicrous. Or maybe you don't understand that legally the deal is not consumated until you sign the Purchase and Sale Agreement. You don't sign the Purchase and Sale Agreement until you take delivery.

What you are afraid of is ridiculous to the extreme. I wouldn't think you were being too outlandish if you were taking delivery of a car at a legacy auto dealership, because you might feel the need to protect against a crooked dealership owner. But Tesla? Give me a break. The contract clearly outlines the portion of the payment that is not refundable if you change your mind. Other than that, all the rest is still legally yours until you accept delivery and Tesla is not going to run off with it like some kind of crack head.

Thats all I’m saying. I’m ok with it because I had to buy my M3 sight unseen in 2018 and it worked out fine for me. That’s my experience. Hence the comment.
Yup. My wife an I bought one Model 3 in 2018, sight unseen. After driving it home and living with it for a week, I started to scheme how I could get another, ASAP. It was the best car we had ever bought (and I thought a lot of them were very nice cars). Fortunately, I was able to buy a Performance Model 3 just over 4 months later, again, sight unseen.

To be clear, neither of them were technically "purchased" sight unseen, we looked at them before signing the Purchase and Sale Agreement, just as most Cybertruck purchasers will do.
