Window sticker, not sure how I missed it before, guess because it was tucked in by my passenger seat

It’s curious to me how the “fuel” consumption piece is missing on these early build monroney stickers. I think this is the first time I am seeing a vehicle with out that information on the sticker. I would have thought including the mpge numbers was a legal requirement. ?‍♂

I really don't know but how much is the 6 month/ 1 year free supercharging really worth in $$$?
Tesla Cybertruck Picked up my AWD Foundation Series Cybertruck yesterday in NorCal IMG_8315

I only use Superchargers and hotel chargers (when I travel). This is what I’ve used for the past year with my 17MS 75D. (Unfortunately, it doesn’t tell me how much I’ve saved in Tesla charges with free SupCharForLife.)
Stat: $0.36 / kw locally
KW: 6,300
Rough cost for 1 year of supercharging: $2,200

Maybe they have a time frame or a window to work in for new models. But they've been working on the vehicle for years. They do also get options on how they get to provide their mileage rating. Some manufacturers are more realistic or under promise and over deliver.
It would be nice if they listed everything that came in the foundation series as well.

Went to Home Depot yesterday to get some 10 foot 1 1/2" pipes. I was able to close the vault door close to them to hold them in place. But I noticed when it automatically gets too close it touches them then goes back up automatically.

You should of flexed with extract mode when you parked next to that lifted GMC. ;)

Yea I'm gonna have to start doing that when I get out.
Lol. Why?

What did they lock you up for?

Going shopping at Home Depot with your suspension all the way down?

:D

I remember way back we were discussing the merit of having an underfloor storage box on the CT underbody that you could put car length pipes in, and pickup using the adjustable air suspension.

Probably can't be to high, but would probably work.

I've been meaning to ask someone with a CT, but haven't seen it done yet.

Do you know roughly how far the front seats can slide forwards and how wide the floor space in rear is with the seats folded up? Alternatively, can the front seats be reclined flat if the rear seats are up? I wondering if there's a way to get two people to sleep in the cab. Maybe using a hammock or custom air matress over the top otherwise? Thx!

I was notified my home did not qualify and they offered me 1 year free supercharging. I have level 2 at home so have not used supercharger much in years so this is useless to me. I would rather get the equipment and install it later if an option

It's roughly 27" of useable space with the rear seats folded up. Moving the front seats forward doesn't really help you because the tracks are still there. Front seats don't lay flat.

Tested it out in my garage. It fits, but it is tight and I can't really get into the driver's seat directly with the garage door closed. I can either climb through the passenger seat or open the garage door to get to the other side. I don't think 2 cars would fit in my garage, it's much wider than my 3.

I can’t recall ever seeing a car/truck sticker that had less information about it being than this one!

Thanks heaps for that.

Looks like a bit if a missed opportunity to make some flat area in the cabin. I quite liked the Silverado concept with removable seats mounted on rails. All a bit difficult now, seeing there's no bed HVAC and it's too short and low to sleep comfortably in, without a pop-up roof bed.

Do you know why your home didn’t qualify? I ask because I would rather have the 1yr free supercharging than the gateway (since I have solar+powerwalls), haha!!

I hope it's not required to have the gateway and home charger installed. I am moving in the next couple of years and already have a home charger installed. I just want the equipment for my future home.
I'm in Carmichael and my reservation was Dec 3rd, 2019. I have Tesla Solar/Powerwalls with Gateway and Wall Connector. My understanding is the existing PW's, gateway and Wall Connector are all that's needed to work requiring no additional hardware.

So you have a CT FS unit ordered and are waiting for the VIN?

I'm pretty sure it has to be a V3 gateway. I have existing solar and Powerwalls with a V1 gateway and I qualified for the new hardware. Also it is the universal wall connector I think, not just any of them.

I was invited to configure on 12/8, but placed my order on 12/22, waiting for a VIN. We just have the wall charger installed since I own a Model 3 and Y. We're planning on moving out of California once my wife retires at the end of the year. So I just need the hardware for my future home. The hardware has a value of about $2400. Seems like Tesla is forcing you to have the equipment installed or you get 6 months of free supercharging which will not even come close to the $2400 value for me. Now this is based on what I have read from others who are farther along in the process. So things could change as this is evolving and Tesla learns that not everyone is going to be happy with just 6 months to a year of supercharging. In your case, you're going to just lose $2400 if you can get value out of 6 months of supercharging. But you might still get an extra wall charger, but that has yet to be determined.
