Thanks. I've been in contact with the installer and will check again. I just got someone from Tesla on the phone at 650-681-6133. They said it may be they need to whitelist my account. He's going to update me on the case by tomorrow.Call your electrician who installed it, so they can contact Tesla to get it fixed. Sounds like they boofed yours like they did mine. Tesla set me as receiving a Solar system, not Powershare. Electrician called Tesla, they manually added my VIN, and 4 hours later it was activated.
I believe that "whitelist" is adding the VIN manually like they did for mine. Sounds like you're on the right track.Thanks. I've been in contact with the installer and will check again. My installer, who has been great to work with, basically said the same thing yesterday. No options to jump the line. I think it is taking longer due to the volume of installs recently. They also told me they have to send Tesla pictures and Tesla does a review of the install before assigning the VIN. I also heard 2-3 weeks from a Tesla support person (the 1st one I spoke to). The 2nd Tesla support person I spoke to is supposed to call me with an update this morning. I'll post here if I find anything new when they call. I'm excited to test this out and trying to just be patient. Hope you make it through the hurricane with no power issues @cyber_moonlightI’m curious to see what the process is because I got my Gateway and PowerShare setup installed today. I called Tesla and they said that once my gateway is activated it flags my account and within 2 weeks I should receive the software update to activate the PowerShare. I asked if there was a way to get it sooner given the hurricanes and power outages we’re having in Houston and he said no.
Curious to hear the experiences of others
