For a basic install that only connects, does not go inline between the meter and the box its still over $4500. I did talk to the installer and he had frustrations with the options available for them to enter. Everything was dropdowns and they could not put in their numbers.
I'm really surprised the light and heavy loads backup options are so much more expensive compared to the main breaker separation.

I watched most of the install and it was 2 people for most of the working day. My install was just under $2,400 and including moving 1 circuit (fridge) from my 2nd 200A panel to the one being backed up for an additional $110.

The installer provided the 200A (new) main breaker for the Gateway and the 3/0 Cu wire to go from the meter to gateway to panel. Likely less than 15 ft total in wire, but expensive wire. Since one of my existing main panels was now a sub, they needed to split ground and neutral for all of the existing circuits.

There should be less labor for either load backup option, since you don't even need to pull the meter. It should just be running an appropriate breaker for the gateway as a sub panel and splicing over whatever loads (5-10) you decide to backup. Even needing 10 new arcfault breakers and splicing over 10 circuits should be less labor and parts than the main breaker separation rate.

I would expect light load backups to be the same rate as main breaker separation and heavy loads backup maybe $500 more.

Early Foundation Series Beast purchasers were eligible for up to $4k in installation credit for Powershare, along with Gateway 3V and UWC.
How early? I purchased a Foundation series Beast a few months ago. I got the credit for the equipment and ordered it. However, my contractor that is working with Qmerit quoted around $5K.

I didn't pull the trigger yet because of the cost but if Tesla provided credit for the installation, I would move forward.

This is the cheapest of the options. The heavy load was $1000 more and the installer told me the inline between the meter and the main was more than that.
wait a minute, Tesla pays for this?
Initially with the cyberbeast Tesla paid $4000 towards the install. Which Qmerit should have just claimed every install was at that point because we all would have done it right off the bat. They would have made more money.

Don't recall when I confirmed my order, before June I think. This was also for the cyberbeasts only.

Once it is installed and active I can do whatever I want with it. I just have the "pay to play" their stupid game until then....

I would be opening a ticket with Tesla about it then.
It took them a long time to get you your truck!

Me? I got my truck in May, then there was much back and forth on installation (Qmerit for a while, then off-network and was looking at Powerwall/ Solar). Going with the slight upgrade of putting a subpanel in the detached garage along with larger branch circuit to it. UWC then connects there.

My install was inline between the meter and one of my main 200A panels. The main breaker disconnect is the cheapest option by far.
