Hi- I placed my order in Colorado on 12-20-23 but no vin number yet.
I already received a couple of emails from tesla about the Powershare Home Backup Eligibility.

I received another email yesterday from a company called power charging pros about my pending Cybertruck gateway install.
The first warning sign was that the landing page had them at 4.9 star review on google but no link to click on (image only). A quick search did not pull them with any kind of reviews on google map.
I am assuming this is a scam but just want to see if anyone else has received something similar.

Tesla matched me with Car Charging Pros for our install as well. Totally legit.

Why the 347 reviews with the 4.9 stars that's nowhere to be found? I have a hard time doing business with a company that fakes reviews.

Exaggerated reviews does not mean they dont exist. I cant think of a single business where I would trust the average google score.

Also it would be quite difficult for someone to scam cybertruck configurators accurately. Telsa is producing so few per month that why would someone waste their time scamming such a small population?

How would they get your email unless tesla system got hacked. Possible but likely not.

Yea that is like someone lying on their resume that they went to Baylor University, sure they may be able to use Excel but if the first thing they did was lean on a faked resume that is a bad start.

I would ask them straight up, hey your email showed 347 reviews and a 4.9 on Google, I can't seem to find that, can you direct me to it?

I can think of half a dozen ways you can spoof your way into a reservation holder. That said I just got an email from Tesla confirming their contact info (Car Charging Pros). I am still not thrilled about the exaggerated reviews. I do not have a good feeling about this process.
