I looked everywhere for a switch and just closed and opened the tailgate to get it to go back on. UNTIL ………….. one of my twins was in the bed pushing buttons and it started going on and off. Pleasant surprise. Go figure, a 5 year old figured it out!!!!!

If only my tailgate buttons worked. Kaput at 13k in miles. Annoyed the last two. Always having to open via phone as I need to see the distance behind gate that while opening it could hit.

Cool feature, but it runs the tailgate locking/unlocking mechanism each time. So, it only works while tailgate is open. I don’t know how many cycles that thing has, but using it as a light switch may burn that up over time.

Yeah, when I tried out this tip, it didn't work because I had the lights set to "off" in the app. Also doesn't work if the truck is in Tent Mode.
