It's not unreasonable to expect service to handle a pre-delivery defect. However, your presence on this forum means you are much better informed than most service personnel, and would likely do a better job.Since this is not something I can correct myself easily, my assumption is Tesla service will need to do the correction especially since it was delivered like this. I will add this to my upcoming request.
But there's no reason not to let them try, yes?
