Possibly, the sail storage is still there?
Only it is accessible from the truck bed and not from the outside. If it were under the tonneau cover it could help solve some weather proofing issues.
Though it certainly would not be as user friendly.

Sail storage is now accessed from the cabin through the midgate in the bed.

with this configuration, the right side sail storage is also a refrigerator allowing heat to vent outside. The left side is for smuggling pharmaceuticals from Mexico.
