Got my CT early 2024 and haven’t had one issue. I have 25k miles on it and went to the shop for a frunk alignment issue and that was all. At the price they are selling now, I definitely recommend the purchase. I paid 100k for mine but still don’t regret the purchase at all because of how comfortable the ride is.

Six month ownership and the best vehicle I've ever owned. Not one issue. Had lots of cars and trucks during my life span and never thought I'd buy an EV. Traded in a Land Rover Defender for it. Just love this crazy truck. With a major new radical design of this model, one has to expect some issues. Just the cost of being "different".

I want to keep this question as simple as possible. I love teslas, I drive a model y daily and love it. I have tested the awd ct and the trip motor cb and loved both. my question is, are the cubertrucks really embedded with all of these problems? or is it luck of the draw on which one you get? thanks.
Don’t buy unless you need a truck. It is not a car

I love my dual-motor CT. 8,500 miles and no issues. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

The problems are exaggerated media hype mostly. 120 days in with my AWD and zero problems other than trim that Tesla has fixed quickly and with zero pushback

There isn't a pat answer. Everyone has different needs and resources. On balance I think its a great vehicle but its also unique and will not fit every driver. I have an AWD CT and a Model 3. My Cybertruck is mainly reserved for actual truck duties and camping. I prefer a passenger car as a daily driver.

I'd recommend reading and watching reviews from people who have actually owned and driven one. Ignore the regurgitated click bait.

I have a AWD Cybertruck, early model. I am completely pleased with it. FSD is great, but there is an adjustment period for the driver to become comfortable with it. My wife liked the appearance after we had it wrapped.

I also had a Model Y (2020) for 4.5 years before trading it in for the Cybertruck (AWD) back in December. Originally, I was waiting for the refreshed Y but am so glad I got the CT. It truly is an amazing vehicle. I have zero regrets and no real issues. The only issue I had was my drunk switch started malfunctioning during my 2nd month of ownership but they replaced it and all has been good.

You won’t regret getting one.

Now, I have read of some people trading in their CT because they realize they don’t need a full size pickup truck as a daily driver but I think some of those people don’t really think through owning a truck before buying one. Personally, it’s my daily driver and I love it. Don’t find it too big and the utility of the truck (my first pickup truck) is very freeing. We can do whatever we need to do now.

My wife has a 2024 Model 3, so we do have a smaller vehicle but I rarely drive it instead of the CT.

It can wear after awhile.

There might be better deals on 2024 inventory near the end of Q2(June 30). That would be a good time to snag a deal!
You can’t get the EV $7500 tax credit on 2024. Only 2025 version will you get the credit. Makes a huge difference.

You can’t get the IRS $2500 tax credit and any 2024 cyber truck but you can with a 2025 version. That makes a huge difference!

Curious to know what the issue was and how did Tesla fix it?
It was door alignment that made a tiny gap in the seal. Not noticeable at low speeds. At about 72 it started to whistle. Anyway, as I said, they had it for a brief time and I haven’t heard it since.

Zero issues with mine. I also came from a 2020 MYP to the CT, love it, no regrets and no visits to service or any issues at all with mine. Pro-tip - uninstall the rear view mirror immediately. Worthless and distracting.
