Here is what I get:

Based on your reservation number of RN113187141, you are #443042 in line for your Cybertruck!

However, there are factors that will implement your estimated delivery date. These factors, such as your region (us-north-america) and your drivetrain choice (dual-motor) will impact your delivery date. These factors will change our estimates over time as we get more information.

Your anticipated delivery date is 0.00 months or 0.74 years after the first Cybertruck delivery, targeted for March 2023.

Assumptions: 60% order attrition rate. North American deliveries First, ramp period of 3 months to get to 5k vehicles per month, then 6 additional to get to 5k vehicles/week. Dual Motor and Quad Moto drivetrains will have priority.

Jan 24 maybe???

Dual Motor and Quad Moto drivetrains will have priority.
Priority order… Quad, Tri, Dual.

Dual will never out prioritize Tri I don’t think. On the spreadsheet where it lists timeframes, albeit guesswork. Tri is first, then dual, then single but of course, single will be gone most likely and Quad is inbound so it’s anyone’s guess. Maybe the earning’s call will shed some light on the topic.

https://www.thestreet.com/technology/cybertruck-could-boost-revenue-says-big-tesla-investor

Tesla bull and investor Gary Black believes that Tesla will make Cybertruck deliveries in late 2023 and estimates 10,000 truck deliveries as part of his overall 1.9 million delivery estimate for 2023.
This was my guess 6 months ago. So I will stick with that.
Some Cybertrucks will be built in 2023. Maybe 10,000. Maybe a little more, but not a lot more.

Hey, and we will find out December and this thread will be here to look back on.

The question is will you get YOUR Cybertruck before January 2025?

It will be freaking 2025 before many of us will sniff our reservation getting near production.

Reserved 2019. Delivery 2025. That is insane. We are all nuts.

PS Where is the next "concept" (by any manufacturer) to tickle our car craze? It has been a long time since the Cybertruck unveil. Someone should have even bolder and newer ideas by now.

CyberTruck ramp will be more like the Model 3 ramp than the Model Y ramp. The Model Y production line was a slight adjustment of the Model 3 line, with only a few changes and improvements. The Model Y was released EARLIER than its original announcement estimate. My memory may be skewed, due to excitement and an unexpected vehicle crash (aren't those always unexpected?🤔), but Model 3 development included nearly a year of test mule sightings, not just around the Bay area but all over the country. The testing and tweaking of the mules went for a long time before Tesla nailed down the production line equipment. And this for a vehicle fairly similar to the Model S they'd been making for half a dozen years already.

The CyberTruck is a wildly different platform, and one that Tesla wants to be extremely durable. If it were a Russian manufacturer, or a legacy OEM, they'd just overbuild the thing to ensure durability, but this is Tesla. Tesla prefers to underbuild their test mules, send them out to do real world testing, then reengineer anything that breaks. This process could take a VERY long time.

I logged on to reserve my CyberTruck about 3 seconds after Elon said "You can go on the website and reserve one now!" RN112754980 Tri-Motor. I'm in the top 10,000 of reservations, under 3000th place for Tri-motor trim, est delivery Mar 2024. I'm torn, both wanting to have the first CyberTruck in my town, and wanting others to take the early builds to work the bugs out. That delivery estimate feels about right to me, so I suspect it will wildly optimistic in reality. I want it soon, but I want it right.

agreed!
Never in any of our lives have any of us experienced anything remotely close to this Vehicle and the buying experience like the CT.
NO WAY! .
We are nuts. Lol and it FEELS SOOOO GOOD.
But, I do have to say to all the youngsters out there in their early 20’s whom threw down a 100 bucks just because and knowing the chances of being able to actually purchase the CT was practically 0% at best. We all did expect a much sooner date. right?
I know 2 youngsters in their 20’s who took the risk and have been teased and poked at from guys at their work from the very beginning since reveal. I placed one on 7th day and I felt and got the lashings 🤣! Like why would you do that? Are you crazy? I have to admit, it really sucks to listen to the remarks, but I stood my ground and still to this day. It was easy, I owned a Tesla already and already knew what was coming 😜 Cybertruck is absolutely my DREAM TRUCK! Bar none. These boys were teased much longer for months by the guys. So I truly got to see these boys grow and mature. As months and months went by there was less and less teasing and much more thata boy talk that started to go the boys way and now, well, we all know right?😊
I have watched 2 young men take full advantage of this delayed time and just kept throwing their money into savings and some stock. No one is laughing at these young men anymore 😂🥰 especially the boys their age Who did not share the same vision. (Btw nice skateboard )
Mark Gonzales, thank you for shaping me in my young life! And thank you Tom Grohowski as well. Frkn rad dude! Awesome times. Anyways, lol
I’m personally blown away by how much money these boys have been able to save during this whole time and it’s in the thousands!😳
I could not be more proud and exited for them! They took and still are taking full advantage of this time as I text.
they said, to me, a while back that my energy and excitement for the CT and life helped them go for it and say oh the hell with it! And chose the CT as their very first truck purchase as men and they thought for years it would be diesel and never electric ! Lmao! 😁 that felt really good btw.
So, hats off to you boys and any of you youngsters out there who took the plunge and dared to be different and saved for a small chance that it might happen.
Well, it’s happening and I see smiles before the truck is even built.
Keep up the hard work boys!
I’d like to say, Tesla, I seriously love your Vision!

You should definitely wait until the first 50,000 or so are delivered. Maybe a few more than that just to be safe.

Are you some kind of masochist?

I mean… I love y’all, but most people would describe this experience as frustrating. Like the TV show where the love interest never quite connects. They just string you along season after season after season. After 2 seasons I’m like “No dude on the planet is going to cope with that kind of bullshit” (no offense ladies, I’m sure you feel likewise).

But we keep coming back and the only really funny character in this sitcom is @CyberGus and that’s only because he has a bear for an avatar. At least this season we have a few new characters to keep things interesting like @greggertruck

But we keep watching… will Ogre get his truck? Will @John K get his pen? When will @greggertruck get arrested for Cyberstalking? Will @CyberGus actually break into Giga Texas?

This show sucks… but we can’t stop watching it, we’re all waiting for the season finale.

Dude, I'd so talk my way out of an arrest like "look at the Teslarati articles... ITS ME, I swear.. OFFICER I was on MSNBC last week man.. CMON! You must have a Lightning on order or something man"

I wonder WHO actually gets their truck first?!

I have a similar opinion. My S was about 75K off the line and I've only had the issues that all of them have (the frickin' door handles, mainly). There are some differences though, the S was their first mass produced vehicle and it took them longer to work out some of the bugs (motor and battery pack failures). They may face similar challenges with the CT (more on the 4680 battery pack, I think they have a good handle on the motors now), so I'm hoping my approx 45K spot in line gives them enough time to figure things out. It also depends on the order that they produce the models. I'm a bit torn between the tri-motor and the quad and giving them enough time to get things straight is definitely on my mind and will weigh into the decision of which model I end up buying.
