This is your very first post on this forum, and it's extremely sus.
It is my first post. I related my experience I'm sorry if you didn't like my experience. I didn't come here to run down Tesla or it's drivers. I came here to find out what kind of tpms I needed to get for my cybertruck snow tires and wheels. Is also like to know how others clean the inside of the windshield, particularly down low.

Tesla delivery process is horrible.
I picked up my cybertruck this morning and I was shocked at the nonchalance of their delivery approach.

It's my first Tesla, but no one cared to walk me to my car, show me around the features, or help me set up the infotainment system. Absolutely nothing.

Now this would have been great if it was a choice, but what happens to someone who isn't tech savvy? Is Tesla fine with loosing those kinds of customers?

The entire process was very detestful!!
My first Model X delivery in 2017 was excellent! The rep sat in the car with us for about 1/2 hr.and went through many of the features. The second one in January, 2024 and the Cybertrucl in July 2024, not so much. The delivery experience was like this: “Here’s your key card. Your car is over there . Have a nice day!” Since there were some differences, it would have been nice for them to have gone over them!

Picked up a new Y in winter and they ran it through a car wash and put it outside wet. They gave me card keys and pointed to it in the parking lot. The brakes froze. It wouldn't move. Finally went in thinking I was an idiot and they came out with a heat gun - so they knew all about this issue.

This was just before the Elon purge of 2024. I did complain on the survey I received. Many guys were booted from this store.

For used M3 I clearly stated the car was full of dog hair, etc. They said they would detail it. I go pick it up and still full of dog hair. No fuckin response from anyone when I complained.

Service sucks. Wife books service. App gives her a date and time. She put it in calendar. We show up and they said the appointment wasn't 'confirmed' so it didn't exist. That is confirmed by Tesla. WTF? So you make an appointment but it is not an appointment until tesla confirms it.

Anyway, they did help us but pointed out fixing the fucked up interior and doors was not covered under warranty as they are "adjustments" and car is over one year old. They did them "complimentary". GFY.

I made an appointment for my Y but at my service center it was more than a month out for first available appointment. A day before the appointment it was cancelled. They had closed this service center. But they didn't bother telling me a head of time and now I had to wait a few more weeks for an appointment at another service center. Fuckin clowns at best.

So I have a mobile appointment as my cameras a screwed and overheating. We will see how it goes.

That’s the thing, they won’t lose them because they know once you have one of these vehicles…any of them not just the CT (this is my 4th Tesla by the way), you will never go back. They have always been like this…trust me! But at the end of the day, the vehicles are amazing & they will fix all issues you bring to service/maintenance. It just will take a while with the wait times. Basically “It is what it is”

The cybertruck is my second Tesla and both delivery experiences where awesome. A very friendly representative was with me all the time asking me for any question I may have. I don't know this is because I'm in Texas but I never had any bad experience, all the opposite, people on Tesla service centers are the best!

They haven’t always been this way. I feel like their customer service just can’t keep up with the current demand. I liked that I didn’t have to jump through hoops to get my truck on the delivery day, but I didn’t like that no one even told me it was going to be missing parts that I had paid for like the wheel covers and off-road light. I had to walk back and ask them what the deal was. It also was only at like 50% charge. Since I preordered in 2019, I assumed that the lack of service was because they weren’t fully prepared as it was an early delivery.

You must understand the rules of the cult here. So, rule #1, your first post needs to be about how much you love the truck with zero negativity. Rule #2 in any and all posts, you must say "I still love the truck". Get your act together and you'll fit right in here. It's a happy place.

When we picked up our 2nd MY at Clarkston MI, we were already used to the non dealership experience and we loved it. I had time to go over any details in the car and the representative was wiling and able to assist. It literally took us 3 minutes to get all set up and slinked up with our phones. The couple picking up another MY next to us had a representative with them going through some tech tips on the screen. I am certain that if you ask, they will answer your questions and will show you where the answers are. Its a totally different system and experience. I don't miss the old dealership experience nor the add on fees that come with it...

I had the same experience picking my truck up. I had a 3 hour trip to somewhere I had never been before so I got there an hour early. There was no one there to pick a vehicle up at that time. I went up to the counter and identified that I had an appointment at 4pm to pick up a truck, they told me to come back in an hour than and they would call me up to the counter. This was in a garage and I could see behind the podium 2 rows of about 20 vehicles including several trucks lined up for delivery. Shortly before 4pm a line started to form. They never called me. I reminded them at 4:30 they were suppose to call me up to the counter. The delivery amounted to sitting in front of someone with a laptop who did some typing then told me to turn on the Tesla app. She than requested payment at which time I slid over the check. The app than said "congratulations, welcome to the family". She said I can find the truck with my name in the window and take it. There was no opportunity to look the truck over or ask any questions.

as an extreme introvert this sounds like heaven
I know it was great! I hate going to ace hardware because 5 people ask if I need help before I can walk by 3 isles. I understand some people are opposite tho, and should be an option, let’s face it tho you didn’t buy this truck and not be somewhat of a tech savvy person lol

I got the same experience as yours and even worse as the Cybertruck is so dirty and stinky outside , the inside is so smoky. Then it was all of a sudden, another Cybertruck was driven to the right side and the driver started very loud music with the Cybertruck light show indoor in the delivery garage, it was so loud to hurt the ear drums. Tesla has a very good Cybertruck product which makes driving a truck so easy but Tesla still has a lot to iron out on their customer services which makes me not confident enough to recommend Tesla to my friends.

I just cannot understand why Tesla do not clean their car before the delivery? Tesla has a great Cybertruck product which makes driving a pickup easy and trendy but I cannot recommend Tesla to my friends as all the subpar treatments to customers.

I used to say this until I found out that they were listed as a luxury brand focused on tech and performance.
What others call them isn't the same way they see themselves. They outsell Toyotas and Hondas... of course they think of themselves more like that than a 'luxury' brand.
