Do you input your destination when road tripping? If so you shouldn't have range anxiety. I've traveled to 11 states without any range anxiety... And I've traveled several states while towing a hitch carrier. There's always non-tesla chargers and RV parks to. The coverage is phenomenal at this point.
That's what I noticed with other owners. I'm the only one anxious about it.
I bought my Model 3 Long Range with spec of 330 miles.

It could be where I live where it's kind of hilly terrain, or the way I drive but I've since realized my foot was heavy when I first got the car so fixed that. I also have to drive 75 to 80 mph because I feel like a fool driving 60-65 in a 75 mph limit hiway. I understand those factors that cause to lower mileage but it's disheartening as I should at least get 260 miles, spec for Standard variant, instead of just 220 fully charged. No matter what season of the year I'm getting about the same results.
Yes, I complained to the service many times. I even told them to give me their super-driver and if he can get close to 300 mi, I would give them $1K because it would my fault but they wouldn't take the challenge.

So, hopefully the tri-motor CT would get me farther without anxiety.

The Taycan??? Which version? The Generic is $90k+ (before the 5,000 options they have) and is only 5.1 seconds 0-60. Compare apples to apples!

Compare the base Taycan to the Base S. Winner TESLA. (And I own Porsches!)
Yea, Taycan and model Y was a bad comparison, also, its not even faster if you look at the ones closest in prices

model Y is 3.5 second 0-60 and costs 54490 lol

and the mustang GT performance

and as for lucid, I cant seem to spec out a dream edition anymore which means the highest range they advertise is 446 at 179k!

Dude, range is a mix of driving. If you don't do the mix, you're not getting that range.

The faster you go, the more air you have to displace, the more energy it takes.

Just punch your route into the car and it'll tell you.

I agree that the faster you go, the more energy it takes....

But is it actually related to a volume of air displacement problem?

Seems like the same vehicle traveling the same path would displace the same volume of air independent of speed. I certainly see the air drag being very different based on speed.

twice the speed takes 4 times as much energy.
