I think Elon said on a joe rogan podcast that it is definitely not going to be 150 kWh battery pack. It’ll be smaller then that. I could be wrong.
150000/500 = 300 Wh/mi. If he can build the TriMotor to run on less than 300 Wh/mi the battery can be smaller than 150 kWh. Do you think he can do that?

For reference: My X uses 282.

Does that mean you agree with the post or that you think they can do the Tri at < 300 Wh/mi?
Whoops, I skipped over your question. Yes, I agree with you. It would seem difficult for Tesla to get the CT to Achieve lower than 300 Wh/Mi

Maybe the Base RWD could get close to this? I think A lot of Model X owners report higher than 300 Wh/mi Anyways correct?

Im just plugging mine into my Nema 14-50... why waste money when it will flow plenty to charge the vehicle the 10+ hours it sits over night.
I've got both a Get 2 and Nema 14-50......both are on separate circuits......one with a 60amp breaker, the other on a 50 amp breaker.....hope I can plug both in and coordinate the times they auto-charge.....my service is 200amps

I would settle for 300 Wh/mi to 400 Wh/mi for my CT3....over 400 would not complain as long as it is not more than 425 normal driving in town....am I over expecting?

I haven’t looked at this service, but I know some Tesla owners have been using a site called Teslafi to track mileage and set up scheduling on their cars. It would be fairly straight forward to issue a stop charging command to one car and a start charging command to the other.

https://about.teslafi.com/scheduling/

(Haven’t tried it, not a recommendation, YMMV, etc etc)

I get anxious about the idea of sharing my API token with an outside service Or I would use it for the logging features.

I would'nt be able to answer that really. haha.. AJ is the Math wiz, im sure he's already calculated his predicted consumption of the CT3 based on lots of numbers and math equations i dont understand

My old one ran over 300 IIRC. My newer one is 282.

I think it's going to be arond 410 - 415 (implying battery size of 205 - 207.5. There is a lot of "engineering judgement" in those estimates so more or less is not beyond the realm of belief.

It certainly would be with 2170's. I think they are banking on substantial improvement in volume, weight and cost per kWh from the 4680's

I love my MS......13,750 miles and average 246Wh/mi.......not on chill........currently battery range is 382 miles, down from original 393 miles.....approx 2.87% loss, not too bad.....since last update, seems to charge a lot slower though.....
