here in Cali, I get the slide into my lane, finger and that same deep, head tilted back, laughs Every, Every day. it's getting to be a draining, depressing thing now. I stay in the right lane all day to avoid the hate but it's just everywhere in the Bay Area, unavoidable. I drive 100 to 150 miles a day so the AHoles will be seen. I do ignore and do not react except for the low lifes that slide into my lane and yes I honk. I love the video recording icon on the screen.

The "laughing alone in the car" sounds like overacting Theater Kids. Overly dramatic and overly demonstrative.

I was taking a right turn out of a convenience store driveway the other day, waiting for the traffic to go by and noticed the driver, a female, was apparently laughing hysterically at my truck. She was alone, and pointing at my truck and laughing her ass off. I initially smiled because, what else could I do, but with a second or two, I realized she was laughing derisively. She was like, “what kind of f….-tard would drive something like that?” Or, “That’s the stupidest shit I’ve ever seen.” Granted, she could have been having a weird reaction to a stroke or something but I’m pretty sure I saw what I saw. Then today, I was at a four way stop and a guy in a Nissan tundra or something smiled and then chuckled like: “what a douchebag.” Or, who the fuck would drive something like that?”
I could be a little paranoid, but I think I saw what I saw, more or less. The thing is, what is so wrong with our society that people can feel so smug about their judgments about something or someone that they can feel free to openly mock or jeer at others that they don’t even know? I could get way into this but I won’t.
I understand that Musk is on the wrong side of the line for many people, including myself. But the cancelling is so hard for me to understand. I not only don’t like Priusss , I hate them. But I’m not going to pull up to a driver of a Prius and feign hysteria because they’re so ridiculous. To each their own. Whatever floats your boat.
I’ll keep driving my Cybertruck, regardless of the haters. But I sure al hell hope people can have some grace in these divided times.
Was their name albert einstein?

Yep, when I drive, I don't even look at the other drivers. Just at the road. They can do what they want, I don't care anymore. But I feel you though. Hang in there.

I don't pay attention to most people because most people do not think for themselves. They are told what to think by their peer group leaders. If I earned the money to buy a Cybertruck or Rolls Royce or Maserati or Duramax or whatever, I will if I want to. Each of those vehicles makes sense for certain circumstances.

been called a D$ck and Douchbag as well...lol While i was waiting at the curb to pick someone up at the airport a couple of TSA agents walked up to me and said this is the ugliest thing ever seen. I ask what they drive and said the same thing back to them...lol. Honestly i think we dwell on the negative comments but i know for sure there are many more positive reactions like people wanting to take pictures with their kids etc.

why bother... just give them one finger salute. :)
I've been returning the favor in kind lately, and it's fairly entertaining ha. Sometimes get the "wait did that guy flip me off?" look, sometimes get a second, more exaggerated bird...best is to hit that dashcam save when you see general criticism/reactions. The general attitude towards all things Tesla as of late, especially in the bluest Greater Seattle/Western WA area, is hysterical. Agree with OP though...TETMFO. I don't express my despise of your Kia Soul or the malice I feel after laying eyes on your Honda Ridgeline (don't read too far into the references here - all in fun. I'm a Honda guy, less Verstappen/RB).

Unfortunately, I have yet to personally witness other CT drivers' reactions after dumping the thumbs-down out the window in an attempt to set the CTOC standard acknowledgement between drivers. Only do it while I am also driving the truck, of course.

Foundation Series grants early adopters a look into the current state of mental illness. A few things to remember:
  • CT lives rent free in their head. You can't hate something passionately without thinking about it constantly.
  • Their favorite celeb is likely driving a CT
  • Funny thing to me is that these haters expect some young tech-douches to be driving it when in reality, most drivers I've seen have been older men who are just enjoying their lives and EV lifestyle. One older gentleman was so excited to tell me about his new CT. I didn't reveal that I obsessively know every detail already. I was happy for him and also annoyed that he'd get trolled sooner or later for enjoying something.
