Ventilated seat Issue?

I’m not feeling air blow through the seats but I can hear the sound of it or a fan. I feel a little air below the seat where connectors are.

I lit an incense to check for air flow and the smoke didn’t move at all next to the seat.

Should I be feeling air blow through the seat?

If it has the same implementation as my '16 Model X, it doesn't blow air up, it pulls it down, through the seat. You should feel a slight cooling effect, but it's nothing like air conditioned seats in some other vehicles.

Try the other seat. If they both feel the same, than that's the way they are. If it's different, then you'll know there's an issue with that particular seat.

BTW, when I lean forward and put my hand behind my back, I can "feel" the air blowing (on 3 blue bars).

Have not tested this but it seems like the AC seat setting follows the fan speed setting. It felt to me like the set was cooler when the fan setting was on faster/higher.

I feel the seats cooling a little but it is nowhere as good as on my X Plaid. The X plaid seats get actually cold. Just food for thought that maybe they're not as high power / effective as other Teslas with the same feature.

I did the smoke test with both seats and they didn’t disrupt the smoke.

I could be mistaken but I thought on my first drive the seats were blowing hard and I could easily feel it.

Can confirm both my front seats have the same issue as what others report. Here is what I've tested so far. I'm comparing it somewhat to my 2023 X Plaid:
- on the highest cooled seats setting (3 bars) you can hear the fan by the headrest (odd place to put the loudest part of the system) and it barely moves any air
- if left running for around 10 minutes, it definitely gets cold, but air doesn't actually move much
- the cooling may be tied to the temperature of the hvac system itself as the lower I go, the cooler the seats appear

Overall, the Cybertruck seats don't appear to be as "cooled" or "ventilated" as the X/S though this may be a design choice. It's still nice to have and helps a bit, but don't expect to turn it on after being at the beach all day and have it cool you down like the X/S does.

Or maybe this is a flaw and they'll fix it in future versions of the truck, who knows, it's Tesla, anything can happen.

That's interesting. Maybe there are some faulty trucks then. I'd love to hear from more people and in the meantime I'll attempt to reach my service center. I've just about never gotten a response from them but it's worth a try.

On my first drive I thought I felt the breeze through my shirt. The seats don’t do that anymore

I have a service ticket open for a windshield gasket and just asked about the seats. I haven’t gotten a response just from the window issue so….

I feel the same way. First couple times using it, def felt the air blowing. Never had ventilated seats before. Now, just the noise.

Same as others, but I also never experienced air coming out of the seat because even when I could feel it cooling, there was no airflow so I think it is pulling the air in instead of blowing it out.

When you guys test are you sitting on the seat because maybe it’s pressure sensitive/activated too?

The seats have their own ventilation fan. It might be worth peeking underneath to ensure the electrical connector is secure. You might be able to feel the ran running...?

We can definitely hear and feel the fan running but no air comes out the seats unfortunately
