It's impossible to know if LTS did anything, but at this point it seems clear Tesla is not going to ever indicate how the mechanics of the LTS program work. So knowing that, I would assume that maybe it did help. I got a VIN 51 days after order which is a bit faster than average.

Good point. I had already placed my order by the time the LTS thing came up. I was eligible based on how long I've had my shares, but I only have 300, not 500, so I couldn't apply. I ordered exactly 14 days after you, although granted OC not SD, but maybe I'll get my VIN 14 days after you did? ?

i would absolutely recommend people to not finish financing/loan step until they actually have a VIN assigned as they will keep having hard credit pull every 30 days until they actually take delivery.
