Hi y'all, it's my 2 year anniversary of having the cybertruck this Month, and I'm 1000 miles away from my warranty expiring.

Any advice on what I should get fixed while still under warranty? The inverter was fixed long ago.

My only nag now is an inconsistent noise, like a rattle coming from the air vents on low fan power. In usually have music playing, though its pretty obvious when I dont. I opted against it at my last service because the tech told me they'd have to pull the whole dashboard apart and I just wasn't sure if I wanted to risk causing more problems. Has anyone else gotten this serviced, or had it become worse?

Is there anything else you would suggest I take care of while I still can under warranty?

:ROFLMAO: Not that service, but I’ve had many services made worse after “fixing” my cars. Latest is a front drive motor replacement in my CT. Several plastic clips missing from the fender liners, incorrect bolt used for the aero shield, and broken coolant line causing a rattle at freeway speeds. That’s just on the stuff I can see. Oh, and the front motor still makes noise.

Get the extended warranty when they offer it in the app…I think it’s a must

Yes. My concern precisely, which is why I'm wondering if anyone has had the air conditioner noise. Good luck with your next service!, thanks!

Most Tesla SC won't replace things pre-emptively, like the PCS. I'm not sure what you can do .
my vent noise is happening now, and good point, I don't think any warranty does that.

Check all the common issues:

  • Water Leaks: A lot of tonneau covers came missing a slat at the top. You will see a hole in the top one if you are affected.
  • Wind Noise: Reports indicate poor sealing on doors and the rear tonneau cover, resulting in water infiltration and significant cabin noise at highway speeds.
  • Weather stripping under the frunk lid will likely be losing its adhesive and needs to be replaced.
  • Damaged wheels if you are using the stock rubber hub caps. They will replace the wheels once, but if you keep using the caps there is no point.
  • Check all the seams on the seats to see if there is any separation
  • Confirm the power outlets/usb ports work, they are rarely used and sometimes have issues
  • Go into the service menu and check for errors in the logs (google for instructions)

My exterior door buttons got stiff. I had the worst one replaced and now it's so good that I might make the same request for the others.

And the phone charger if you have overheating issues.

Great list Pops. Frunk seal! I have the issue and almost forgot about it. Checking error logs is a wise idea. All good on the other items, TYSM 🙏

They are using a thirs party to refinish my wheels from the cover scratches. I was a first Tesla owner and was never told about the covers scratching the wheel so I never had the option to choose. They stuck them on and to my ignorance I didn't realize it scratches until I went to air up. I wonder if I should push to get replacement instead of refinish?
