They are using a thirs party to refinish my wheels from the cover scratches. I was a first Tesla owner and was never told about the covers scratching the wheel so I never had the option to choose. They stuck them on and to my ignorance I didn't realize it scratches until I went to air up. I wonder if I should push to get replacement instead of refinish?
Several people on this forum have posted they got new wheels, I don't see any reason why you couldn't as well. That said, a good refinish is indistinguishable from a new wheel.

I personal prefer the caps and will accept the damage. Granted putting air in the tires is a lot more of a pain with the covers.

I agree on air. I too really like looks of caps but wasn't ready to commit to having to keep it permanent. I wish I could have made the informed choice at install. Once I thought about it, there's probably no real good way to not get scratched with contact and the wheel turning rpms on less perfect terrain.

It's very disappointing that tesla doesn't have an extended coverage available for us
Agreed, on a revolutionary vehicle with lots of new tech that we’re effectively test subjects should be at least double the current years/miles for both the basic and battery/drive units warranties.

Hi y'all, it's my 2 year anniversary of having the cybertruck this Month, and I'm 1000 miles away from my warranty expiring.

Any advice on what I should get fixed while still under warranty? The inverter was fixed long ago.

My only nag now is an inconsistent noise, like a rattle coming from the air vents on low fan power. In usually have music playing, though its pretty obvious when I dont. I opted against it at my last service because the tech told me they'd have to pull the whole dashboard apart and I just wasn't sure if I wanted to risk causing more problems. Has anyone else gotten this serviced, or had it become worse?

Is there anything else you would suggest I take care of while I still can under warranty?
I would pray your PCS fails now instead of 1,100 miles from now. That is the big one
Double check you have the additional tonnuea slat so your vault is dry

The wheels are a great idea. I wish I'd done that. I got hit with the PCS and had to pay, so I'd push that if possible. I also just had ton have the lower control arms done, so see if you can hear any clunking over bumps or when accelerating or accelerating..

I'm hoping it'll be smooth for you!

Someone told me that before the warranty expires I can schedule a service call with Tesla to go over everything in the vehicle to see if anything needs to be repaired or replaced
