This. Drone videos from the last two days showed large amounts of CTs outbound from the factory. During the hold there were 1000+ held at the factory like you said and have been cycling out with new manufactured inventory replacing them.

This is false. The recall states 100% of all manufactured CyberTrucks between November and April. That is all delivered CyberTrucks to real owners my friend. Included below from the recall notice. Very interesting that VIN jumping / non-sequential appears to be the case for CT manufacturing.

The numbers do not include the ~1,000 trucks in Texas on hold I imagine considering the recall notice is only for delivered vehicles. Interesting data as deliveries are much lower volumes that anticipated.

Add to that the approximately 1,000 that were shown at GigaTexas, and the number that were either already in transit when this occurred or are in showrooms or showroom lots, and it might actually be close to 6,500. Is it really important to us how many have been made other than to track the production rate?

Tesla is still in the ramping up stage.

Elon stated 12-18 months for volume production to begin so the earliest would be around December 2024. I’m guessing spring of 2025 is when volume production will kick in.

I got an AWD VIN yesterday in the 87xx range. If they have delivered 3878 then there could be nearly 5,000 Cybertrucks that are not related to the public, like the release candidates, or trucks that are already built but not yet delivered

The NHTSA clearly says certain Cybertrucks. It does not say all.

Yes but the recall is for all Cybertrucks manufactured between 11/13 - 4/4.

Well I guess anything built before 11/13 were Tesla test vehicles and not released to general public but used by Tesla factory or specialist employees like Lars etc and therefore not counted as not general release.can anybody remember first sighting on the road ie prior to 11/13

Its quite possible that they have built 8000 trucks so far.
I live in Plano TX (Dallas), my office parking lot is Tesla's inventory lot. I posted a video 3 month ago, they had 4 trucks at that time.



This week I saw there were 20 trucks, I will post a new video this week.
WIll also capture VIN#s.

My point is similarly all Tesla locations will be holding 5-10 trucks average around US/Canada plus 1500 plus at GigaTexas + 3878 delivered.

So easily there will be 8K trucks out there.

We need someone to check and tell how many trucks are living the production gate, how frequently they are coming out to tell what is production rate.
