Images of Al Capone and other 1920s-1940s gangsters shootings at rivals or at police or police shooting at the gangsters.

Note all the bullet holes in windows and upper half of vehicle including roof. They did not aim to shoot only at the metal parts of the door.

Al Capone's Bullet-Proof Gangster Car
Originally built for Dutch Schultz in 1931 with lead-filled doors and inch-thick glass, Al Capone's mob took the car after Dutch's murder. Showcased within Whiskey Pete's Hotel and Casino. The car obviously took a lot of bullets!

* Thompson submachine "Tommy" gun was too weak. It could not penetrate the body of Clyde Barrow's V8 Ford car.

Francis "Frank" Augustus Hamer (March 17, 1884 – July 10, 1955)
American lawman and Texas Ranger who led the 1934 posse that tracked down and killed criminals Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow.
.....
Dallas County Sheriff Smoot Schmid & some of his deputies tried to ambush Bonnie and Clyde in late November 1933 near Sowers, Texas USA. They examined Barrow's abandoned V-8 Ford at Sowers and discovered that the bullets from the police's Thompson submachine gun had not penetrated the body of Barrow's car, so this time the police requested a Browning automatic rifle.

The lawmen confronted Bonnie and Clyde on a rural road near Gibsland, Louisiana at 9:15 a.m. on May 23, 1934, after 102 days tracking them. Barrow stopped his car at the ambush spot and the posse's 150-round fusillade was so thunderous that people for miles around thought a logging crew had used dynamite to fell a huge tree.[32][notes 3] Accounts differ only slightly concerning the last moment before gunfire erupted: Sheriff Jordan said that he was calling out to Barrow to halt as the shooting started, Deputy Alcorn said that Captain Hamer was calling out, and Deputy Hinton wrote that Alcorn called out. All six, however, agreed that Deputy Oakley stood and fired the opening shot from his Remington Model 8, and that his bullet hit Barrow's left temple and killed the outlaw instantly.[33][notes 4] The posse fired off another 100-plus rounds, any number of which would have been fatal to Parker and also to Barrow.

Captain Frank Hamer used a customized .35 Remington Model 8 semiautomatic rifle with a 15-round magazine that he ordered from Pet McKay's Sporting Goods store in Austin, Texas. He was shipped serial number 10045; at least two Model 8s were used in the ambush.[35] The rifle was modified to accept a "police only" 20-round magazine obtained through the Peace Officers Equipment Company in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Not sure what the point of this post is? Especially considering how much higher you sit in the Cybrtrk, and how much taller the door panel is compared to cars in the 30s.

My Ram 1500 sheet metal is so thin you can dent it standing next to it with a really hard fart, and I'm tired of shelling out money for PDR/bodywork, and THAT is my interest in this truck.

The fact that it can stop subsonic 230grn, is great.
But it's not the reason I'm buying this truck.

If you are worried about that, you need to be worried about M855 green tip.

This thread was much more enjoyable, and even educational than all the pricing threads combined. Thank you OP!

Probably line the door internals with some kevlar laminar and “duck” lol.
