That's part of my problem right now. The range isn't 500. It's 500+...and we don't know what that means. I don't assume I'll ever drive from 100% capacity to 0 and coast to a charger. Please never ever expect to go the full range of your battery. There needs to be some buffer above and below. Never ever assume you will ever go 500 miles when the rating is for 500.
OK...so the EPA driving range will not say 500 miles...unless the + means 500+56...then at 90% under ideal conditions it could say 500 miles. But we still don't know what the + means. Which is why I'm asking for it. The EPA stated range needs to be close to 500 for me to keep my reservation, because I know that under way less then ideal conditions I'm going to NEED it to get me 200 miles and the dual motor 300+ mile variant probably won't cut it.And just to clarify the last couple of posts, the rated range is battery at 100% under ideal conditions.
I meant purchase cost and I'm mostly concerned with the wheel package "options". It debuted with 35s. That's what I have on my truck now and what I'd like on the CT, but the current spec list doesn't say if those are an option or standard equipment (already baked into the 500+ range). If they are an option, then I'm sure 500 miles of range is out the window when rolling on 35s. In which case, I'd probably also cancel my reservation. And I couldn't tell if you meant TCO or whatever.
