Windshield Repair - Anyone had one replaced yet?

I had hoped the windshield was a little stronger!!!

A small rock caused a chip. My baby!!! She is only three weeks old.

No, it wasn't a steel ball rolling down the highway from Franz. Has anyone replaced a windshield yet? Any advice?

I'm curious if a normal auto glass resin repair kit that uses a small syringe will fix it. They sell for under $15.

The borosilicate infused windshield glass in supposedly a lot stronger than normal automotive windshields. Tesla also installs them on the Semi.

Always a bummer! My son was driving on the highway two days ago and passing grass crews cutting towards traffic. Well my son saw the rock from the mower all the way to his window in slow motion. Just had it replace last year already…it’s not a Tesla.

I just scheduled a replacement windshield. Not sure what flew up, but it hit right at the top edge and shattered the very edge with a single crack down the middle.

Mine cracked yesterday, the windshield glass is very weak.
