I see a number of ppl already said they have the same issue in this thread. I didn't count up but perhaps do a poll? Those who don't have the truck yet, please try your best to not be dismissive or add too much noise as us CT owners track down to see if it's whether it's a one off issue. Something that can easily be rectified. Or if there is an actual design, engineering issue with the extra long arm and the middle hinge point putting uneven pressure.

I have the same issue as the op. Seems exactly the same arc too. Have not raised the alarm yet because I figured I can do a more thorough clean and see if I can get to the bottom of it myself. My initial thought was perhaps the big red bow they had on the truck during delivery left some residue that the wiper picked up.

I first noticed it because it rain the day of my delivery. And the streak made it really hard to view through the windshield at night time with the oncoming headlights. The static photo the OP posted doesn't convey the issue completely. I felt like I had blurry vision. And unfortunately, the streak area is perfectly in my line of sight.

I had to slouch and lower the seat in order to get a better view out of the clean portion of the windshield. Once at home, I did a good clean and even used alcohol at the blurry area. But issue seems to persist.

So I'm kindda glad to see this thread. Because it suggest there is some tuning/adjusting that Tesla may need to do to some CT's wiper since it's not just my truck that seem to have the issue. Time will tell whether this is a more widespread issue or only affect the handful of us who has replied so far on this thread.

Ironically, the rest of the windshield gets clean properly. It's just the driver's vision that is left with blur.
agreed it’s worse than it looks here. It is in the line of sight and I did have to hunch down to see properly. Going around curves in the rain at night was not fun.

Yea those of us who drive on dirt roads, and use a trailer will need a solution for the rear camera. My guess is it will be a sprayable "solution" from Tesla with the refresh of the CT which will be out soon I would guess.
Ya, but if they do that, what happens to all the prior ones. If they have to run another line and a sensor or whatever, that sounds costly.

Had 5 Toyotas and 2 Hondas. Never had them in any until the rubber blade gets brittle and need to be replaced, after more than a year usually.

How long had the CT been out? Wait, some of them were just out from the lot.

Fan boi excuses, excuses, excuses when this high priced asset developed in 4 long years should be held in the highest standards.
The price of the Cybertruck isn't for a luxury vehicle.

I hear this same dribble when people talk about the Model 3 and Model Y, "This is a really expensive vehicle and it should be higher quality"

Ironically, the rest of the windshield gets clean properly. It's just the driver's vision that is left with blur.
Irony is that in most years this wouldn't have been an issue.

It's rare that the Californians have to turn their wipers on.

This post deserve some kind of award -- the exact word escapes me the moment.

So let me simply reply that Cybertruck should carry a waiver and a warning: Cybertruck should only be driven in California.

My service appointment was rescheduled to yesterday, and the new wiper was installed. However, I only took a short trip last night and wanted to test the new wiper during the forecasted rain tomorrow for a better evaluation because it seems that the new wiper has the similar uncleaned streaks in about the same areas :(

There is something I noticed, though, on my way to the service appointment yesterday - the old wiper appeared to be cleaning better than in the past and the smudged areas were much smaller, it seemed. I even thought about skipping the service for its replacement. Now, with the new wiper, the big streaked area right in front me is back.

Maybe, as other have hypothesized, the issue is uneven pressure resulting from variances of the large size of the wiper. Maybe, with time, the wiper evens out and pressure normalizes.

I'm against any windshield coatings and will not apply any on my cars. I think I will just give this new wiper some time, couple of months, to see if it improves by itself
I mentioned the blade not touching evenly way back in the thread. I had a car I drove for years that had this issue. I randomly stumbled onto a video on YouTube one day about wiper blades etc and the guy had the same issue I did. So I bent my arm and did some tricks he mentioned and bam, my wipers worked after like 5 years haha ?

I have the same issue. It’s quite annoying. I had it in for service and they replaced the blade… issue still present.
Hopefully a redesigned blade is on the way.

Mine was a bit better after it was replaced, but seem to have gotten worse... hope yours stays better.
