Had an amusing experience a few weekends back. My family and I were out on a camping trip in extreme Northern BC, about 4 miles back off the highway in a remote area. We had the place to ourselves, until a lifted Ram pulled up towing a jet boat. They immediately got stuck the mud, and I offered to pull them out, but they were able to work through it on their own. After extricating the truck and trailer from the mud, they proceeded to back the trailer into the river, where they immediately sunk the wheels in the loose rocks/mud down to the rear axel. There was no way they were getting that thing out on their own.

I grabbed my tow straps, we rigged it up, and I pulled them out like it was nothing. Practically zero effort for the cybertruck.

Anyway, I thought I would share, just to counter some of the clickbait BS you see about the cybertruck. It is truly an incredibly capable vehicle.

somewhat unrelated anecdote, but a friend of mine told me my truck wasn't even fun to take off-roading because there was zero perception of a challenge to navigate through the deep muddy rutts.

That's quite the take!

When I launch my jet boat in our glacial rivers, I'm so happy to know the truck can handle those conditions with ease.

For a little more fun, I recently took the CT up a very steep and loose mountain trail with large rolling boulders and rock crawling sections...definitely white-knuckle driving. I was quite happy to see the truck handle it all easily.

Your friend just needs to find more challenging conditions I guess! :p

That's easily solved by mounting a set of wheels that have bald tires on them before taking him mudding next time! Or, you could put it in Baja Mode and select full rear power bias (or full front, if that's your thing).
