Thank you for pointing that out. The bulwarks are the mass standing vertical, piping encasements and hydraulics, I assumed encased in concrete for mass. That which is standing ships w/o concrete to save weight. The whole assembled bulwark shown may even ship in sections to be stacked at GigaAustin and poured at destination into one massive piece as seen atop the steel beams.

The wide-flange steel floor beams? Those don’t ship, as you mention. I missed that. Instead the standing bulwark is destined to be anchored to concrete foundation at floor level in GigaAustin.
There is no concrete visible in the photo. That's steel that is painted white. It has some massive fillets welded on for strength which may make it look like bulkier concrete but it's just painted steel and it's absolutely massive! It comes apart for easier shipping but even the individual pieces are massive.

I believe every cast machine is fully tested in Italy before going to customer. Just saw How It's Made condoms last night, each is tested before shipping out too. Got to love YouTube for education.
Whaaat? I don't like the idea of some dude stickin' his junk in a condom, then packing it up and selling it to me. I'm done with condoms.
Unless it was tried out on Scarlett Johansson.

That still doesn't make it late, since it's not needed until the production ramp.

No where in there do I say "it's late, CT cancelled" bro.

does 9000t means 9k tons? thats 18million lbs of pressure? my brain cant comprehend why this amount of force would be needed.

or do i just not understand what the 9000t is referring to, and how this works?

The "tonnage" refers to the clamping force between the two halves of the casting mold. Larger casts require a higher clamping force.

But, why? I Am Not A Scientist, but bear in mind that the molten aluminum is shot into the mold at high velocity and pressure, filling the space in a fraction of a second. This is to ensure that the mold fills completely before the metal temperature drops, minimizing porosity and voids.

ah, that sorta makes sense.
and because the mating face is so freakin large that force is actually much less on any 1 place,
so the large T's might be a product of the face size and part size

The "tonnage" refers to the clamping force between the two halves of the casting mold. Larger casts require a higher clamping force.

But, why?
Surface area and volume multiplies the force of the molten material trying to get out.

Think the pressure at the bottom of 2-liter vs the pressure at the bottom of a bath.

I see what you did there.

That’s concrete post and beam structure .v. Steel and girder construction at Austin. Nice try!
You are mistaken. The casting building at giga austin, and the stamping building, is constructed entirely of concrete columns and huge steel girders for the cranes. That said, the roof and several other aspects of this photograph do not look like the giga austin die casting building or the stamping building.
