What is the latest mileage expected for the dual motor?
I ordered one and wonder if I can change to a tri-motor and if it is worth it.

I dont think you can change options at this time. Tesla will contact you when your delivery is imminent.

300 is fine for me since I work from home and in the process of installing a Tesla solar panel.

My next door neighbor ordered the trimotor but I know for a fact that he will not buy it. Wonder if can transfer to me.

I read somewhere that the build priority is for dual motors.

I'm no expert but I think you can have an arrangement with him to buy it and sell it to you after. The only onsideration is if Tesla will have restrictions on transfer of ownership within a certain period of time. That's a Tesla question at the time of purchase.

The only thing that might help me would be if my social security payments were not taxed at all (just like many billionaires). I'd also like to see my "IRA" pre-tax not be taxed, especially since I paid a lot of taxes when I was working. Again, I had a family to support so I couldn't pay a lawyer and accountant to falsify my income to get away with paying almost no taxes. I already knew I'd have to pull some money out of my IRA but that means I have to pay income tax on it, which is more than paying interest on a load. My Apple Card is up to a generous $19K limit so maybe I could use that to pay off part of my CT, get 1% back and not have to pay any interest. Any other ideas for the majority of people in the US?

The majority of people in the US qualify for the Inflation Reduction Act tax credit so.. no advice needed other than “Buy one less than $80,000”.
