You mean toe mirrors, so you can do something else than navel gaze, for the lack of new CT details! ?
What kind of yoga do you do?

Toe mirrors to navel gaze. I don't even know how I would get in a position to do that.

Crazy day at work, did I miss anything?
Oh boy.... 19 pages in and you ask if you missed anything. Over 3 hours of content, 19 pages of commentary (Ok, some (a lot) of it is opinion) and some great up close pictures.

To be fair, not all the 3 hours of content was about Cybertruck. In fact, most of it wasn't. But the CT did stand in for a little peek as to what has been going on in secret prep for the next generation vehicle.

Biggest CT news was 48V low voltage system. But that was just a small bit of the context around optimizations that have been made to hit the ultimate goals.

As an example, there was this chart showing that on one measure, the CT was at the 85% complete point on a path where the next gen vehicle would be at 100%. For the context, go watch the feed.

While staying optimistic on dimensions, and recognizing a lot of folks will want a more mid-sized truck footprint:

• back seat looks … small
• bed is … (very?) small (more of a 5.5’ X 4’ bed)
• frunk still could be … huge (deep toward driver)

Almost certainly a lowered tailgate - here’s an analogous button design from my Lightning app

I absolutely like this look but won't take 40-50 mile hit for it.
could be up nearer like 125mi. At 75mph the Rivian ATs take a 25% range reduction compared to the Rivian streets.

25% of 500mi = 125mi

Is that a padded armrest on the door, next to the window? Never understood why other trucks don't have that.
because in most trucks, that would add to the blind spot created by the truck height and obscuring of the rearview mirror - maybe in CT the cameras/tech are suppose to avoid that common issue?

We’ve installed thousands of batteries and now ~ 200 bi directional ford chargers
could you please come install just my Ford Pro Charger :ROFLMAO: Central TX is sh*t for service providers

so the cover now hides up into the roof area??
Ask Rivian owners how you might get leafs out of that

The sarcasm is lost on this one, Luke

Not a fan of the new dashboard design but I knew that was coming.

Where does this info come from?

But yeah definitely looks like they've gone down to 80" wide, would've been better for them to keep 82" and do the 6 seat/console option.
I am guessing that someone made it up or Tesla would have provided the information themselves. Elon said the shrinkage would be no more than 3% and most likely less, and later said that they were sticking with the original (Alpha prototype) width. Tesla published a bed length of 6.5 feet so I would not believe a bed size change unless Tesla published it. So if these 'deets' (where does that term really come from, the hood?) are questionable the whole post is. Sorry if I am not a believer but I am not.

That table, and the associated presentation, was able how much of the controllers used in Tesla vehicles are designed by Tesla. So for the Cybertruck they will have reached a stage of having designed 85% of the controllers, and by the 'next' generation they will have designed all of them. That is not what your statement implies. Their controllers could be at 100% designed and still be only 85% designed by Tesla.

Not sure I would brag about 3% shrinkage. It would imply that the subsequent growth is at max 3.1%. No one's going to be impressed with 3.1% growth. How would anyone know if you were happy to see them?

Sounds more like valley girl than hood. But I'm no connoisseur of popular culture.

Sorry if I am not a believer but I am not.
I believe you.

I’m going to go out on a limb, and guess that some accommodation had to be made for four-wheel steering.
I could see that affecting the width but not the length, and we never knew the bed width.

If the CT still has a rolling vault cover, it seems like it must have changed significantly. We know the roof and rear window are glass, so the cover can't be stored there and still extend above the rear window.

Past images have shown the tonneau cover along the purple line, but is it possible it now follows the green line? That would leave the window exposed like a traditional truck and explain where the cover is stored...

?????? Have you never seen the original unveiling? They have shown the tonneau working many, many times and nothing has changed in the interim.

Your interpretation of a perceived implication of my example is 100% unrelated to my intended message. But there is an 85% chance that it won't matter.

No one is floating the idea/possibility that the open space up there is for the tonneau cover to roll up into? Maybe they engineering challenge of having both a folding midgate AND a rollaway tonneau cover was too complicated...so the cover now hides up into the roof area??
I mean, I guess it would be possible. But open bed would mean no sky view. Feels like they would scrap midgate before that

OUCH. I guess be careful when loading your Cybertruck. This looks like a nasty injury waiting to happen.
