I will say I'm bummed about the prospect of lacking a display behind the steering wheel. The earlier prototypes had one.

My brief experience driving a Tesla was in a Model 3, and kept looking under the wheel to check my speed. It's perfectly visible on the center screen but I prefer to just glance downward.

It's a learned behavior, you'll get used to it. Maybe it's better, nobody is typically willing to create something truly new and innovative even though our technology has dramatically changed over the years.

In the video he says the tires are 285/65R18
That is 100% a 33” tire. In fact its more like a 32”.
A 285/75R18 would be a 35. Is that what he means?

If thats the case, these are the tires my entire fleet runs (though a little smaller) once the factory stuff is used. Couldn’t recommend any 3 peak rated tire any more for people wanting a smooth, nearly dead silent option for a tire that is a super grippy road & wet tire that will impress you outside hardcore off road or real mud (which is why every truck has a winch. Winches last much longer than MTs do). Our F150s get 70-75k miles out of them as well. Very very hard to beat this tire in value terms.

Best way to tell would be F rating on tires from factory but we run Es on 1T 350s even duallys but the 450s are all F

What your truck looks like when they are done might not excite you though.

Im just having thoughts of them trying to cut through the steel and giga castings and doing it fast enough that A you dont die from lack of O2 or blood flow or B you dont die from out of control panic. Just the thought gives me claustrophobia

Could disapear after 6 months, due to age about 60 year old usually. No treatment except vitrectomy

I have had floaters for years.....not real bad but every now and then I can see them.....My doctor said he could not do anything and hopefully they wont get worse.....for me it has not been too big of a problem...I wear contacts, so far no issues. gook luck

If I were to guess I would guess that the 4680 performance will be ready this year. The Limiting Factor seemed to think they would rival the 2170 performance in the second generation and they appear to be between the second and third generation now. Way back when someone guessed that the CT, having a similar size, weight, and drag coefficient to the Model X, would get a similar battery efficiency. If that is true it is definitely possible for the CT to get a 500 mile range. Of course, this was all hashed out after Battery Day but I think it is worth keeping in mind now.

I totally agree if a TA has happened but if it was because you tried to get through the window and your truck got halved as a consequence thats a real bad day
