Well I’m selling my home in Washington state in the next month or so and moving to Texas hill country.
The home I’m building is all solar and will not only power my home completely but charge up my EV, golf cart and bikes as well.
so I will be completely self sustaining in the power needs area.

No iguanas down there. The TLO's eat goannas though.

No goannas in the New World so you mean iguanas. Very different creatures. Despite the fact that lots of people eat them no iguana has ever eaten a man. Not so with the goannas (or their relatives anyway).

[Edit]Actually as Florida is now overrun with Tegus I guess I wouldn't be that surprised to hear there are Varanids running around there too.

I’m building a 40x50 shop and the roof will be covered in solar panels. It will all come down into a large power wall and feed the shop and the home.
roof will also collect rain water for use in the home.
thanks for the info...

No, he's a souped up goanna. Distant, distant cousin perhaps but they are in different orders (Iguanidae vs. Varanidae). Yes, he is a mean dude. The Indonesians call him buaja darat: land crocodile

The Cybertruck depends on the electric grid for recharging. The apocalypse will takeout the grid. The military runs on diesel/ jet A. The post apocalyptic Cybertruck will need a diesel generator in the vault (or trailer with one) or a Cyberdiesel tanker with built in diesel generator to accompany it.
im making a wood gasafier, basically just for fun. I will at some point charge the CT with it, carbon neutral. unless of course I drop that project and do a fold out solar system. :ROFLMAO:

Can't say as I've never eaten either. Don't think I could eat a Varanid. It would be sort of like eating a dog (which I understand is delicious), Ever since I saw one (a Varianid, that is) for the first time at the Staten Island Zoo when I was about 10 I just thought that was the coolest animal I had ever seen and have to admit that I sort of still do. I have chased them across the gibber plains of Australia, gone to see them on Komodo Island, tried to buy them back from Thais who had bought them for supper in open air markets and had them as pets leading to dialogs such as the following in an emergency room on Christmas day:

Dr.: Sir, do you work in an aviary?
Me: No. Why?
Dr:According to your admitting sheet you were bitten by a buzzard,
Me: No . It was a lizard
Dr: Is it poisonous?
Me: No, there are no poisonous lizards except Gila Monsters

Now, 35 years later I find out they are poisonous (but not very).

But I digress. Intentionally. To get it away from politics.

PS; I have eaten crocodile. Sort of like fishy chicken I guess,
