You can install the tow strap hooks at any point in the track of the bed.. so you can have complete control of where and how you strap things down. Instead of just relying on the static ones at the front and back of the bed.
BTW, for those of us with Motorcycles (@Crissa , @Throwcomputer !!) what I see missing here is a way to install wheel chucks to make use of those L-tracks......

Yeah I've been figuring that would never be provided default. I am guessing some sort of wooden diy wheel chock will have to be made, that fills the gap of that indented front wall to support the chock that rests perpendicular to the top edge of the front wall. Effectively making the bed too short for any motorcycles with the tailgate up. Hopefully not too short with the tailgate down!

Thats my ONLY gripe with the CT.

I assume there will be aftermarket wheel chocks to do that by the time I get mine delivered years down the road.

I mean, there are good (and removable) metal wheel chucks. In any other truck, you would just drill through the bottom of the bed and spend some frustrating time trying to get a bolt and nut up through that to secure it.

That won't work on the CT......

worse case design: built a "U" shaped form that mounts on the L-track and then holds the wheel chuck in place?

OTH, not like I fancy the idea of getting my Harley up in there (or even if I'll be keeping it much longer.....). Hate to admit that the eBike is more fun these days...... (yes, just take my H.O.G. card now!)

Thanks! I just haven’t seen them in many trucks (even though I am from a small town with lots of trucks)

Went back and looked- you nailed it!

Someone, anyone, tell me that's NOT steer-by-wire?
On the other hand, could it be configurable steering for low speed?
Bloody great, whatever it is

Not sure if anyone has said this. But this is a prototype.

The final/ production candidates are all wrapped.
