When are we going to hear:

1. What specifications are included?
2. What is the pricing?
3. What is the range?
4. What is the performance?
Why is this a secret?
Agree on all points!

YES!!! One of my favorite kind of posts. Total speculation.

1. Too many to list here, but obviously automatic doors with no handles, the automatic tonneau cover for the vault, rear steering, air suspension, waterfall frunk, dual or tri motor, BAW, similar hauling and towing to original specs, cool as shit, etc.

2. Dual-motor AWD $70K - $80K
Tri-motor AWD $90K - $100K

3. Dual-motor AWD: 350-400 miles
Tri-motor AWD: 450-500 miles

4. Dual-motor AWD: 0-60 in 5-6 seconds
Tri-motor AWD: 0-60 in 3 seconds

It’s secret because it’s going to affect the reservation holders, many of whom have hyped this vehicle up to unrealistic levels.

There’s not going to be a single-motor $40K version. Elon has said as much. The CyberTruck is much more expensive than they thought it would be to make since it involves all kinds of new production processes.

It’s not an exoskeleton vehicle anymore due to safety and production issues. It’s now being referred to as an exoskeleton skin.

It will still be a badass armored personnel vehicle that blows all other trucks away with its futuristic aesthetics, durability, versatility, and functionality.
No one is asking for speculation, what people are asking is when will this be? They should at least have an idea of what date they’re going to give us the actual price and what comes with it.

If they have a production truck, they must have the specs dialed in. I’m willing to take whatever they start with. Just give me the specs already ?

because anything not yet released is a secret?

so why is it not yet released?

because they haven’t released it yet?

which will be true until the moment before they release it

??‍♂
Reminds me of my days as a referee..

Coach: “That was a foul!”

Ref: “No it wasn’t”

Coach: “It f-ing was!”

Ref: “No it wasn’t, Know how I know?”

Coach: “How?”

Ref: “I didn’t blow my whistle. That’s what makes it a foul, not your opinion.”

Coach: “huh? Wait, no, huh?”

Just opinion, but I think the pricing will be reasonable. The Y's were in the 80's, now down to 47K with a $7500 fed tax credit. And according to Tesla dealer... one of best selling vehicles right now. So I believe Elon will not raise prices too much higher than the reveal. Fingers crossed.

I ordered a tri motor just to get closer to the front of the list. Now I won't be able to afford/justify one. Sigh.

i don't think hummers use structural battery packs.. the more batteries on a tesla the LESS likely it is to tilt.

I’m possibly in the same situation. It’s wait and see.
I originally ordered the dual motor because it seemed like the best fit for my needs. When the tri was given production priority I switched to help expedite my delivery and get the range bump.
If 3 motors was overkill, 4 just pushes it to beyond my comfort zone.
It’s just wait and see what they managed to come up with, and at what cost. I have not ruled out buying it regardless and reselling it.

Anyone answering your questions here would just be speculating, the only people who know those details are people close to the project. Not even Musk can be relied on for factual info, just check his track record of false promises.
Yes, every now and then he gets within arms reach of the actual details, but he’s not a very reliable source.
