…nice perk, but still not work the extra 20k imo.
Not even close, but I bet there is a market of customers that doesn’t know you can get a non-FS in stock in many cases. My guess is it will take another lever, either a financing incentive or price incentive.

Mods, can we move this thread to the how-to section change the title to “How to get entitled members to show up? See below”.

Oh snap, the trinket I bought on Amazon last year is 10% off. I am tweeting Jeff. This is horse crap. I was duped. Billionaires doing me straight up! I am painting my hair blue in protest. And no relations for the spouse for 1 year. It’s bull crap and we not taking it anymore. I should always get what I want when I want. Now where is that pacifier I dropped on the floor?

My Power Share was installed over 6 weeks ago… it has had a communication problem since day 1 and Tesla Support, QMERIT, and the electrician they contracted cannot tell me anything about what is being done next. I think it needs to be replaced. We spent the better part of a day trying to resolve the issue. It’s current lost in Tier 3 support. So I have a cool looking Tesla box that does not actually do anything. A little gesture from Tesla for FS owners would go a long way to making everyone happy. I also intend on selling the Light Bar if I ever get it.

It's crazy, but I can't remember the last time I used a supercharger. I probably only used a supercharger a handful of times. This includes the Model Y we bought in 2020, has 73k miles now. The Cyberbeast has never been supercharged before. But we're the outlier. We don't like doing roadtrips.
I think many don’t supercharge, I do on trips obviously, but minimal besides that. My prior position at work required a lot of driving and I got reimbursed for mileage, for folks in that boat this is a great deal. For those that have a local supercharger I don’t even think it’s great, you’re saving maybe $10 each time depending on your electric rate. Is it worth driving to a supercharger, waiting 40 minutes, and then driving home to save $10? No chance. Now when they build the Buc-ee’s a few exits down I would probably go there once a week or so and supercharge while I’m there.

I posted above here is my usage my truck has been open (because of reasons) mostly supercharged at least 95%. I’ve got about 5500 miles.

Essentially is gonna be roughly same expense of a medium size car?! ?

Saw this coming, I still don’t think this will sell them quickly. Not when excessive non-foundations are available, this would take 8-10 years to break even, just go with the non-foundation And save $15-20K. More deals to come I’m betting!!
On month one of Cybertruck ownership I took a road trip and spent over $500 on supercharging. With free supercharging I'd do that every other month.

I have 3 Tesla’s and probably use superchargers less than 10 times a year on all 3, so the $2500 was a better choice for me.
What did you do with the 2500? I don't need anything on web site. They should be able to give as supercharging credits or cash.

My Vin is in the high 6k range and I assume based on your $1800 credit and 6 months of SC you are a similar VIN or delivery date (late may). If so I think we were just is this very confusing time where Tesla was adjusting the policy left and right. I most know folks who got the $2500 and one or two that got the 6 months and $1800 BUT I’ve never heard an instance where someone got the full credit and 6 months. If so please let me know because I’d be glad to chase Tesla down for the extra cash.

One cool thing is they converted my $1800 to a Tesla account credit which can be used for SC. Just has to be used by end of next year I believe. This should make up for it a little bit since nothing really peaks my interest on the store and it’s always sold out anyways. It sucks because had I waited until not I would have gotten $1k military discount, $2k self referral, $1k referral, and unlimited SC. Not to mention I probably wouldn’t have had all the issues of a low VIN #. I really do wish they would have taken care of the early adopters more. I believe ours should have come with lifetime SC. Especially for the premium we paid.
Wait, you were able to transfer to a credit for SC? How? Please let me know. I am Vin 1600 and have no use for anything on web site to spend 2500$. Thank you in advance!!

and the FS drama continues. I’m sure news media won’t spare anything to do another smear campaign - “nobody wants to buy Cybertruck even with lifetime charging”.?‍♂

Tesla engineers built an amazing machine but their marketing guys didn’t do justice!

CT is so awesome. Eventually truth will prevail. CT will speak for itself. I can’t wait to see every other truck on the road to be Cybertruck.
Remember the entire marketing team was let go a few years ago, there is no marketing team to do it justice....

This would be a meaningful incentive, if it were available up in Canada. Fingers crossed they’ll need to incentivize FS sales here too.
I doubt that this incentive will ever be offered for the FS in Canada. It only exists in the US because Tesla made a mistake: they overproduced the FS for the US market. So Tesla is trying hard to move the FS out of US inventory, months after the FS was replaced by the less expensive non-FS. Tesla tends to learn from their mistakes, so It's unlikely that the same scenario will play out in Canada.

Sooner or later, Canadians will get a significant incentive to buy the Cybertruck, but it will be in the form of the non-Foundation Series. Pricing should drop by around $25K-$30K in Canadian dollars. My guess would be early 2025.

I haven’t read through all of this, but as a long time Tesla owner of multiple models, I can tell you that you didn’t get stiffed, you simply got Tesla’d. They’re constantly offering new little perks to boost sales. You know you’re a true Tesla owner when they offer some sweet deal on a product the day after you buy the product.

I know that won’t satisfy most people, but at the end of the day, you signed an order agreement and don’t have a leg to stand on. One could easily argue that, while CT still gets plenty of attention, you got the biggest chunk of the “ooohs and aaahs” for being early (even if you don’t care about that). That was something you got that these free supercharging dudes won’t get.
