Can anyone understand these brakes? This looks like no master cylinder I’ve seen. No hydraulic lines visible. I don’t know what else you would need a fluid reservoir for in an EV.

#1 - We can finally get a sneak peak at part of the backseat!!! Unfortunately, nothing is that impressive according to our viewpoint. :(
2nd row legroom seems OK to me. Maybe not 44 inches, but 42 would be enough for me.

...a robust climate control system...
Oh, of course! The size of all that crap in the frunk is objective and definitive evidence of a "robust climate control system" and therefore it justifies the lack of storage space.

a ford is pushing a giant flat wall against the wind. the length of the hood doesn't matter. aerodynamics don't work like that.
I’m not saying there aren’t differences relevant to aero

based on pics we have seen of comparisons between front lengths between vehicles, they appear to be similar, but the CT slopes down significantly more and is more aerodynamic overall.
I’m saying the notion of “comparisons between front lengths between vehicle” isn’t some big difference-maker in the available packaging of the Frunk

here’s the CT hood line and front fascia overlayed on a Rap

and for the overhead:

is the CT more sloped and so more aerodynamic? Of course

But there’s just as much front-facing bumper and grill, just as much frontal plane, and just as much volume available

to the degree there are minor distances in volume, they do not - as you were suggesting - amount to an explanation for why the CT frunk is ~1/2 the volume of the Lightning.

they had the same available volume, but chose (wisely) to use it for other things

A small frunk doesn’t bother me. I could tell by the 2019 concept trucks cab forward design that the frunk area would be on the small side.

Elon better hurry up with the official reveal date. Each week we are learning more and more about the production Cybertruck.

We have seen the exterior, most of the interior, dashboard, interior LED accent lighting, frunk, etc.

I saw my first one today between Milpitas and Fremont. Was on the phone with a friend and you would've thought I saw Santa Claus fly by.

WOW! I love the fact that every CT will come with a really cool bicycle in the back! Unfortunately it's not a CyberBike 'cause it's not stainless steel. /s

it *is* more aerodynamic, but the front volumes are nearly identical between a CT and an F150

it is not a VW bus with the driver over the front axel

the CT has every bit of the same amount of “hood” as the Lightning, the only difference is that 1/2 of the CT “hood” is behind the windshield

That half the Cybertruck hood is under a sloped windshield is material difference when looking at aero.

The vehicle front volumes might be similar but I am sure the Cybertruck is still smaller but just as important the coefficient of drag (Cd) is much lower with Cybertruck because of the more angled exterior hood and windshield. Cybertruck might have Cd closer to 0.35 while Lightning is closer to 0.44.

With extreme effort, Cybertruck might hit a 0.30 drag coefficient, which would be insane for a truck. Requires tweaking many small details.

NASCAR Truck Aerodynamic Analysis and Improvement

The NASCAR Truck Aerodynamic Improvement team is tasked with providing aerodynamic analysis and improvement to Ford Performance and their factory supported team Brad Keselowski Racing for their Ford F-150 race trucks. A Ford F-150 race truck is a “stock” truck that has some modifications for racing speed and safety.

....
Upon conclusion of the CFD simulations using ANSYS Fluent, it was found that the truck with no geometry changes displayed a drag coefficient of 0.489

Page 5 already, no chicken KPI, no grammar correction, and no 5-seat remorse, I am impressed.
Now their really should be a sixth seat. I think it flips up.
