I ordered a SIX seater, not FIVE seats

And the website still says it seats 6. Perhaps, they want to try to wait in hopes the bad news is buried within the excitement of the launch.

I am happy to find this forum when looking for more info on the 6 seat status. We have four young kids, so I need a 6 seater. We also have 4 dogs, so a conditioned and covered bed should allow us to bring them. With all that, and 500 mile range, I was hopeful this could be a good option for our family trips, including space for luggage. .

I have two kids, but it would be nice to take along the grandparents some times, and both come in a set of two. A sixth seat would be really handy. I still think it will be an option. All of the full sized trucks offer it, and Franz recently said that when they set out to make a truck one of the requirements was that it had to seat 4, 5 or 6 people.

I believe it is still a six seater just relocated.

We dont even know that the 6 seater wont be an add option. So lets just calm down for now. IMO that center foot area sure looks like it was designed to accomodate legs or they would have filled it up. I am holding out hope for the jumper seat. I have 4 kids so it would fit well for me.

After the down sizing of the CT it was determined after much testing the center seat was only 1 chicken wide and not suitable for average size adult or child.

I've never met a center console that someone couldn't sit on....

I like to play pretend. I hear if you are good at it they will even pay you for playing along.

But this "choice" thing.... That mystifies me.

For that, wouldn’t you think the ‘option’ would involve different seats for the driver/passenger?

Yes, I would wait. Unless Tesla releases a van soon, the Cybertruck is only model remotely close to fulfilling needs.

Model X 6/7-seater is too expensive, lacks cargo space ( compared to van or full-size crew-cab pickup), lacks ground clearance.
