Well nobody knows yet but you can still tow if it's 350 miles of range, you'll just have to charge more often.

I went through this with the Rivian. I placed a reservation ($1000) for a Rivian MAX PACK R1T in April 2019. They keep pushing back the release for an R1Ts, then when they finally were releasing their first versions, they pushed back the 400 mile Max Pack version, and brought out the 300 mile version first.

They pushed the 400 mile version back again. They they raised the price for it, while at the same time dropping it from a Quad motor to a Dual motor. Still had to wait more time for it.
I throw in the towel and got a Ford Lightning ER.

Rivian obviously struggled to get it rated for 400 miles. I believe the Battery is 180 kWh 400 V lithium-ion.

I think the price is $94,000 with the Max Pack and Adventure package.
Suprisingly the Rivian Max Pack is only 149kWh (reduced from the 180kWh+/- that was originally promised). Still, even though it was continually delayed I do applaud Rivian for at least allowing people to remain configured for that option and wait it out (3 years from 2021 to 2024).

Side Note: The lowest configuration price for a R1T Max today is $89,000.

Everybody is battery constrained. GM and Ford are also manufacturing constrained, they can't make them that fast ... they aren't really ahead of anyone, not sure what you mean there. Tesla could quite easily introduce a 500 mile trim if that's your metric. Once somebody else's 500 mile truck starts ramping up, Tesla will answer in kind. We need this competition desperately.

Hm… “as good or better than the Model X.” That’s about 350 miles of range. Could this also be a hint at the price? The Model X starts at $79,990 for the Dual-Motor up to $94,990 for the tri-motor Plaid. Like the CyberTruck the Model X is a special vehicle with specific design challenges (gull-wing doors, larger battery pack, increased weight, etc.) They don’t make as many Xs and Ss as they do of the 3s and Ys, so it’s hard to say where they’ll place the CyberTruck. I don’t think it will be as cheap as a Model Y (about $50K), but I do think one of the variants will definitely qualify for the $7,500 rebate (under $80K). That’s all I’m saying before the rabid fan bios, who think they’re getting a Tri-motor Performance CyberTruck that gets 500+ miles of range for $60K, attack. ?

Sure are. But here's whats odd, and maybe my googling jus sucks. They say they delivered 18 of them. But I cant find any instance of anyone who bought one publicizing that facts? So they are taking orders. I'm not quite so sure the public is receiving any yet. Not even the W/T Version.

I didn't say I disbelieve you. I said you have given no reason to believe you. There is a difference. And what you're talking about is actually worse. This is an owners group club. You're trying to create a clique of subtle "dog whistles to the few". You are dividing the forum and trying to present yourself as elite. If you want to have a secret handshake and your own language, do it in a private message. If you have things you want to share with everyone, do so in the forum.
the point of my last post was that you can stop now. ignore me.

*I'm* not dividing anything

this whole stupid back-and-forth happened because i stated something to forum openly, to which you've taken exception.

It's you who tried to drag it into some sort of light, to throw a hissy about your disbeliefs, demand my credit report, etc.

I'm the one with my credibility on the table. All you have at stake is your sensitivities and your carpel tunnel.

you go do you

You don't like the light. Now you're hissing like a vampire in the sun.

I have a growing feeling that GM is either unable or unwilling to produce the Silverado in big enough numbers for us mortals to be able to actually buy one. If they did, I would seriously consider it.
