but who the hell is "Joshua R."?

It came from a FaceBook cybtertruck group post. I pointed them to your and my thread with a different way to view the info. Your 'heatmap' makes it quick to read. I just did a gradient shading in Google sheets. I think a lot of numbers in a table with several rows and column are hard to quickly visualize for most people.

You don't trust TFL?
Requiring verification is not trust. So you don't trust TFL. That's all you have to say.
So you blindly trust internet personalities with information from random anonymous sources?

You can be inclined to believe someone but still want verification.

Or put another way, you can trust that they believe what theyre telling you, but that doesnt mean that you trust their source.

It's not black and white

yes, these charts are great and one way to view the data - and they look nice!

but my heat map approach I took not only because I find it easy to read, but because I think that once the heat map is ordered correctly it demonstrates the central thesis of the CT

eg, when it comes to size v cargo, midsized trucks are always half green half red (respectively), while full sized trucks are conversely half red half green

accordingly, that CyberTruck is all yellow demonstrates not that it’s ‘middling,’ but instead that it manages to sort of bend the physics of the standard categories

at least, that’s how my mind works. Others likely have different brains!

I think that is an accurate and excellent way to look at the data. (y)

This isn't about me, don't obfuscate the situation.

I was asking Arctic White if they trusted TFL. A company that makes videos of reviews of all trucks. No EV/ICE bias, they talk up the good and bad of all trucks. Yes, they have many industry insiders come to them, including sneak peeks from companies themselves. Can they trust them all? They do their due diligence and have a reputation tied to their business to uphold. So they most likely have an understanding of their sources. No reason to doubt them at this point.

Just because you say it isn't about you doesn't mean it's not. You asked if they trusted TFL, when they said they trust but verify you said they dont.

By your logic, you blindly trust them. That's all you have to say.

edit: also, they have shown bias against evs in the past. But recently less so.

The numbers come flat in the middle of all the other numbers. While Tesla does tend to do that, it's what I would expect from a guess, not the real thing.

As shown on the other thread, when there are many variants dancing around, I don't even trust Chevy's published numbers. Especially when there's weird gaps.

specs provided are correct, though a few nominally rounded to a tenth here and there. and of course they're 'incomplete,' because it's not a list of all specs.

meanwhile, if you dont believe 'speculation,' does it seem at all weird to you that you click on a thread dealing in speculation to tell others that you don't believe in speculation?

when you walk by sushi restaurants, do you poke your head in to yell "SUSHI IS GROSS!"

those sorts of vibes, or no?

PS: if nothing else, the value still remains for someone to say: "well if these CT specs ARE true, this is what that world looks like"
What are you, internet police? LOL.

Do you think that the Cybertruck will have less headroom than a Model Y? I mean that's what the "spec sheet" said.

So it must be true, right? :p
