Seeing the side mirrors folded like this it makes me think it would be cool if they could become monitors when folded and display the rearward camera view. Then you could use them as mirrors unfolded and monitors folded. Has anything like this ever been done?

Best part is no part - unfortunately that carries over to the Oh Shit handles....given how violent teslas can be, seems to be a necessary item but not viewed that way from the mothership.

This has been discussed before. It's so that they can install an air bag up there. There are aftermarket handles that can attach to the glass.

Strange optical illusion, makes it look like a right hand drive that has the monitor jammed into the corner.

I just thought it was an inverted image taken from the left passenger side. Must have given our British friends some hope.
