Anybody got a clue on how much per KWH will that 123 KWH be. Over $100, 110, less ?

And I'm assuming it'll be the gen 2 4680

Ordered: Cybertruck Tri FSD x 3

BTW, Rivian is ~95.7% [link] of total.
In a Rivian example: 123 * 95.7% = 117.7 kWh usable or 5.3 kWh
That would be great but I would think usable percentage is a little lower.
~113.7-115 kWh usable

310-325 miles for the dual motor and 300-310 mile for tri is a reasonable guess. (with road tires).

I spoke with a Tesla engineer last week....he did say the tri motor is using the 2nd Gen higher capacity 4680 cells. How much more ? Not sure
Tesla's estimates said around a 10% gain with each gen. Though I would think the dual and tri would be using the same gen off the same line...

Well 100lbs of towing is going to be super disappointing.
i *thunk* you meant to say 100mi?

true it will take a significant hit, physics and all - though unless it’s real cold and you’re towing an ice cream truck at 85mp, nearer to 150+ I’d hope

which is plenty for most things a 1/2 ton is used for, though I understand a sub-set looks for a lot more in a 1/2 ton

Yes auto correct to lbs over mi lol.

My current ICE 1/2 gets 225 miles a tank at 65mph pulling my 5500lb travel trailer. I was hoping to get to 200miles with CT. Otherwise it’s a perfect commute/ daily driver truck for me. We shall see on the 30th I guess.

depending on the trailer + truck aerodynamics, air up the tires, and decent conditions, I’d think you could still get 200mi

Lightning’s 320 can do 200 mi alright, if conditioned above, esp if people are willing to do 60

not quite the same, I understand - but, not that it means much for you: I just remind myself how that is better milage and comfort than my grandfather ever got towing in his day ???

Well if the lightning can get 200 with that combo I have faith that Tesla can be more efficient with their drain on towing than anyone else so that’s positive news.

most of the trips are just from the ca valley to the coast so ~200 miles but thru the mountains. I have to fill up with the ICE once now so a supercharge wouldn’t be bad.

Anything longer would be on flatter highways only once or so a year so extra charging really not that big of deal since it’s an extended vacation trip. Can make the time sacrifice for the $$ savings in the long term. And the badass look ??
