How heavy is this thing and can it be easily removed and installed by one person?

I read: "Powerwall is 250lbs and 14 kWh so a toolbox size would be 500-700lbs."

I calc'd: 43 kWh = (440-320)/2.79

14 kWh * 3 = 42 kWh and
250 lbs * 3 = 750 lbs

You guys are over thinking this. They will thicken the existing battery. It’s only about 4”. Probably put it under the front row of seats. It’s not going in the vault

I'm legitimate heartbroken my friends, I was expecting a price increase but not a 31k kind of price increase, wish you all you the best and my personal congratulations to those who can afford it.

I’ve been saving up for 6 years, and probably another year at least before my number comes up, so I ‘can’ get a dual + extender but do I ‘want’ to. Elon left a lot of information out and I need much more to make the call.

I don't know, I think having a fully customizable vehicle sounds pretty rad. The range extender might be something that can be rented/shared owners when needed. Less weight when you don't need the range. Maybe it doubles as a baby powerwall in other uses?
