The fact that we haven't heard a peep, and that the most powerful Tesla Wall Connector is 48 amps, means the on-board charger is 48 amps. And with a battery of only 123 kWh, that's all 99% of use cases would ever need.

I have 2 Tesla wall connectors, one of them being the universal wall connector, and they both max out at 60A breakers or 48A max current at 240V.
Mine's a Gen 1 connector. It has dip switches that allow it to deliver 80A from a 100A breaker. It's from the days of the early Model S that had the option for dual on-baord chargers. They would take 80A. I suppose Tesla learned an expensive lesson about that, because they scrapped that charging profile pretty quick.

Are you showing discontinued/obsolete product information without any context? I was talking about Wall Connectors that are actually available like the newest Gen III wall connector. Does it go up to 80 amps?

Well, you did say:

... the most powerful Tesla Wall Connector is 48 amps...
... without any qualifiers. ??

But you're right that the most powerful Tesla Wall Connector available from the Tesla store today tops out at 48A.

There's always the extra capacity of the battery extender...Would be pretty cool if the extender price included an OBC upgrade...
