So what type of boat is everyone planning on towing?

My total package wet weight of boat and trailer will be about 4500 lbs. We like to explore multiple west coast lakes including high Sierra lakes. As of now not feeling super confident about mountain range and remote area charging. Let's hear what your plans are.

Here’s what I’ll be pulling. About 4,500 pounds the last time I weighed it. Most of the lakes I fish are within 100 miles round trip with a few further away. I anticipate having to stop and charge maybe a few times a year while towing.

The Tesla crossbars look to be the solution for you (although a little expensive).

From what I can tell, there's 4 different mounting holes in the car on each side for them.

Boat 1 - 16’ vhull for fishing

Boat 2 - 12’ vhull , except this not being trailered, it going on a rack above the vault. This will allow my camper to be hooked up in back. Australians do this regularly and take trips into the outback. I’m planning on doing it here.

That Jon boat, if placed in the right spot on the Cybertruck may make very little difference to range at all. But if placed at the wrong spot, could be a big impact.

You'll want to continue the laminar flow over the top of the truck.
