Did you have any narrow delivery window (other than the span of a few months) prior to this?

If not, it could be an indication that Tesla was waiting to have an update ready to push before they released Cybertrucks.

It's also possible that it was going to another customer that declined delivery. Make sure you do an inspection to make sure there aren't any issues that would likely be a long time before it could be fixed.

Hopefully all goes well, congrats on the Truck.

Haven't got any information about delivery window until today, got the call and told the nice lady that I'd like my truck ASAP and she hooked me up. Good advice on the declined delivery, I'll post photos on any imperfections I see today.

Please clarify this… only three currently delivering CT’s?!
In California, yes. It's been confirmed few a few sources.

A couple of possible explanations:
The truck loads up and drops off everything at one place.
The associated Service Centers have been trained to maintain the truck.
The Delivery Center personnel have been trained.

Most likely:;)
These locations have areas inside in which the trucks may be stored out of sight. OMG the number of people ogling otherwise!
(I thought that this was going to be a joke, but the more I think about it, it may be true!)

There's a thread about my truck assigned to another delivery center or something like that.

Or could it be that "Next Day" delivery is undesirable. Most would drop what they are doing and pick it up today if they could?

This is new freaking Cybertruck! These people were clicking on the reservation buttons for an hour before it went live.

Same thing happened when I got my 2018 Model 3. Call during lunch on the Friday before Memorial Day. First offer of pickup was Sunday, talked her into Saturday.

24 of the longest hours in my life!!!

Just got a call from Tesla Sunnyvale that my CT AWD is ready for pickup today!
Have been viewing this forum for a while now but haven't posted anything, just want to thank all of you guys for the good information! Hope everyone here get their CT soon!

Ordered CT AWD on 12/9/2023
Got VIN on 1/10/2024 1PM, upper 600
Located in south bay area, CA.
