If push comes to shove, towing at 55 or 60 mph should extend the range from 148 miles to a more pleasing, very acceptable number.

Besides, If you are towing 7000lb, dealing with wind, WD, and sway... driving 90-95 km is probably wiser IMO.

I just watched the video… didn’t he stop at 52% … was the second leg 148mikes and I just bailed early?
It was just a calculation based on the 110 miles he drove using 83 kWh. I don't know how the OP came up with 148 miles of range. If we use 122.4 kWh battery, it should be higher. 122.4 kWh/83 kWh x 110 miles = 162 miles.

Aerodynamics is something not predictable. In some cases the tonneau open could give better airflow.
Aero is “predictable” but can be counter-intuitive.

Good info, did you turn on the extra regenerative breaking for towing?
AFAIK, there's not an "extra regenerative braking" option. I believe there's basically a normal an none.

By default, the truck will get extra regeneration, just because it has more mass, and of course it loses it faster as well.

For most vehicles, regenerative braking is about 30% of your power.

i guess what I want to know is how much EXTRA did it eat up… I think it was a mistake to leave the ba k open but couldn’t be more than 10% maybe? But if I set out from home w 320 mikes per the display … will I at least get a real 150mikes? I plan on towing 3500 opus 4 camper that has a very low profile… 150 mikes will be my line between happy face and straight line happy face
