I don't think any car maker will let you transfer software features from a totaled car to a new one, FSD runs with the vehicle, not with the driver.

Yes, I'm familiar the limited time window exceptions Tesla has offered for transfer of FSD. I'm simply saying it's not typical for other automakers to let you transfer software features from one car to another.

Do other manufacturers even have software features that one would even want to transfer to their new car?

yep...been with them since 1974......My rate will be ~1575 annual....that's about the same as my 2020 Model S and 2019 Model 3 combined.....so it is costly.....

I have American Family Connect (Costco Car Insurance). I'm in Tampa, FL and they do not write new polices in the state of Florida as of now.

2 Drivers, 40 and 44 with clean records. 250/500 liability, 250/500 uninsured motorist, 100,000 property damage, 1000 deductibles full coverage

Adding the Cybertruck to my Tesla Model Y and 2001 4runner would be an extra $1208 every 6 months which would equate to almost exactly $200 per month.

If I replace my Tesla Model Y with the Cyber truck the increase is only $334 every 6 months and the Cybertruck portion would be $1337 which is $228 per month.

They didn't have them in the system yet and quoted me based on an MSRP of $100,000. Personally I feel this quote is very fair and I'll be sticking with them once my truck gets here!

Depending on your driving habits, it could increase or decrease month to month. Thats how I understand it. I accelerate at every light like I'm in Fast and the Furious, so it won't work for me.

Quoted right under $1800 for the year. The quote was exactly the same as my Model Y P. Not complaining!

They make it very difficult to compare between customers. If you've had accidents or you drive a lot or you're in the wrong zip code, etc. I'm in Northern California and I was quoted $88 a month. But I'm going to have low mileage, no commuting etc.

In Northwest Arkansas. Quoted 605/6mos. Pretty much the same as my '21 M3LR. State Farm 100k/300k/100k coverages with 500 comp / 1,000 collision deductibles.

Yes, most of us are hear because we can afford this foundation rip off (imo, bit still getting it). That said what are people seeing for insurance cost State to state. Looking to save as much as possible. My current est is 600-1000 6/mo Delivery expected Feb-Mar
