There is no loyalty as far as Tesla goes a lot of us have been with Tesla a long time myself since 2015 I have had 4 Cars 2 homes with solar with power walls reserved the Cybertruck on 11/2019
but none of those matters. No where did it say if your in CA or TX we will skip over everyone else. I have been debating if I should cancel Tesla does have my money already.
I mean, logistically they were never going to send these one at a time to each state when they could send batches at a time.

However, I want to see people who got invites on 1/9 that took delivery in janurary. Or people who got invited this week who take delivery in february.

Not because I actually want them to jump the line, but because otherwise tesla already knew the lead time of jan-mar and feb-apr was a lie when they sent it out. If my 1/9 invite said feb-mar delivery, that would have been more reasonable than jan-mar since zero 1/9 people took delivery in jan.

I’m a 12/12 order from the first wave, day one reservation. Happy @greggertruck got his vin out in AZ! Has anyone in CA gotten a VIN with an order on 12/12?

Just makes me more antsy to get mine. I worry I’ll get mine way later because I’m in CA and they probably want to spread out the love.
I feel the same when I saw 12/21 orders like mine getting VINs in Florida. At first I thought I would get it any day, then figured it was just Florida getting the love.

They would be shipped with the cars so that should not matter if they ship one or more Cybertrucks they would go with the cars .

There's more to the logistics than shipping as well. They aren't going to train hundreds of service centers at the same time to then deliver one truck each for several months. There is more that goes into delivering a car than pulling it off of the train and trucking it to the delivery center. I'm not just talking about washing it either. They have to do an inspection, likely tweak a few things... It's sounding like some of the trucks need more attention than others before delivery. There are reports of trucks having to sit for a week at the delivery center until they are trained.

Are they actually selecting influencers who are likely to give glowing obsessive reviews even if they have issues to receive trucks at this time?

It definitely feels like most of the deliveries are wrap shops and influencers or like part of some "favorites" list.

Meanwhile, most first and second wave invites still have not received a VIN.

I'm only 1/2 bitter because of the issues people are having with the quality fit and finish of these early trucks and I don't mind giving them another month to work out their kinks... but still...

(minute 1, 11274... reservation here)
I definitely agree. It certainly feels like favorites are getting theirs first. I love Greg, I think he has done amazing things for the community, and so happy for him, it just kinda sucks for the people without platforms, who are paying a lot of money.

But, could jus be location like others have said. I have a Beast, so I expected a long wait... sadly.

I’m in Washington and was in the second wave on 12-15. I can only assume they plan on delivering here in the near future, or why bother.

Deliver mine to Blue Ash since Lyndhurst probably hasn’t been trained and I’ll drive down to pick mine up. I’m not getting any younger and I want my cousin to be the first to ride in mine. He is stage 4’cancer. Not much time left. One other friend wh let me drive his MS years ago and that ride convinced me to go a Tesla just turned 90. I told him he could drive my truck when I get it. I guess it is as much for them as myself to get it delivered sooner than later. I’m patiently waiting but hurry up!!!

I would do the same in a heartbeat (pickup at blue ash), but trying to change your location seems hit or miss, and only one person has reported that it helped their lead time. Nobody could tell you for sure if it would either. If I called and asked if it would be faster if I switched, they would either have no answer, or say no without knowing if it's true.

In case you're curious, I've been keeping this updated based on the submitted orders page. I really don't think we're gonna be far behind them if we don't end up being first.
