This was my biggest worry for such a large wiper. The downward force applied by the arm needs to be enough to clear the water in a clean sweep. As a Canadian, this could be even worse in the winter when bits of ice are on the wiper, but I'm sure the heating element under the wiper will help a lot there.

If this is common for you. I would put in a request for service. Whether it's the wiper or the arm, more data collected on problems will help Tesla improve it.

This is a new product entirely that no one else has, so it's not unreasonable for some off the line to be imperfect.

Hopefully all of these issues will be resolved by the time I get my cybertruck but, if not, then my experiences will add into the collective. Just about the only value in having to wait is not having to deal with this kind of early-production stuff.

Anyone else having this issue where the middle of the wiper blade leaves a blurry streak? Makes it really difficult to see out that area.

I don't see what you're complaining about.

It looks like your windshield has some contaminants on it. Give it a good scrubbing with soapy water (including the wiper blade in case it transfered) and it should be as good as new.

I can tell by the second photo it's got contamination, otherwise that streak wouldn't persist after the wiper was parked.

Before you put anything on the glass, clean it with soap and clay bar after. Glass has pores like paint, so claybar will remove any contaminants. RainX next to seal the pores.

I’ve read that CarPro has some great glass protectants too. I use their ceramic coatings and they are great.

Yes the blurry sign. Just had to drive 30+ miles to SFO through the heavy storm. Definitely got sketchy with that blurry streak.
Oh OK now I see it. Honestly, wouldn't bother me much. I've driven with worse.

Service center? This seems so unbelievably minor to not claim as service.
Why is this the response that anyone has about this? Are you serious? Yeah just don't mind that the windshield wiper isn't working as intended, just live with it.

I do not understand this attitude that all problems must be overlooked in tesla vehicles.

The wiper should not be leaving any streaks on the windshield. Period. It's not designed to do so, and if it was then the design would be wrong rather than the individual part. "Oh it doesn't look bad, just live with it" is an absolutely ridiculous position to take.
